"Then followed that beautiful season,
Called by the pious Acadian peasants the Summer of All-Saints!
Filled was the air with a dreamy and magical light; and the landscape
Lay as if new-created in all the freshness of childhood."Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Their growth and survival is a beautiful thing to watch!
I set 2 pots aside thinking they were done for their annual lifetime...yesterday I saw a small white throat-ed purple petunia bloom and in the other hanging basket a red periwinkle too.
I will find a protected spot, re-pot them and “watch”!
Great...I never spend change and then save it till about 10$ and then send it in...Pocket change!
I admit once my Granddaughter got to have it!!
We’ve had quite a few bushes and trees that appeared to have died, only to “come back to life” the following season. It’s amazing. We had heavy rain last night and one of our tomato plants had a large stem with quite a few green fruit that broke mostly away from the main stem. Mr. trisham went out this afternoon and put it back together with duct tape.
We’ll see what happens. :)
