Put a few snapping turtles in each elevator. That might help.

I’m certain the guy doing that was down on his luck, but there is a certain level of dignity you maintain. If you can’t maintain it, then you’re seeking trouble and you’ll find it.

Doing what this guy was doing goes beyond common decency, so you know, he got just what he deserved.

If the guy sought medical care, he would have been seen by professionals that would ask where he got incurred the injury.

Hearing the story, they could notify the authorities.

I’m glad this didn’t come back to haunt the business owner.

I used to raise hogs.

By the tens of thousands.

We used slotted floors, so the urine and manure could fall through, and once in the ‘basement’ it was automatically flushed away.

Making the elevators water tight will only make them wet, slippery, and stinky.

But, I’m not a government bureaucrat, so maybe I don’t know anything about waste.

This occurred some years ago, before the entitled classes felt comfortable enough to raise hell every time someone denied them their every desire. Plus, the cops back then weren’t very supportive of the homeless and their behavior. Today, the business owner would certainly be at risk if such a trap were set on their property.

Thanks for the explanation. I agree with your take on it too.

I have a hard time understanding people who have absolutely nothing. Perhaps that’s a fault.

In my life I worked to provide for myself and my family, so it is foreign to me the idea of not having a pot to take a leak in.

Being on the street with no income, no hope for the future, I just couldn’t be reduced to that. I would find a way to earn some money and climb out.

There are resources. A lot of those folks don’t care, don’t want them. They are satisfied to live in squalor on the streets.

That’s a shame, but it’s the truth. I have a hard time working up sympathy for them.

I know people can be down on their luck, live in a car or even on the street, but people with an eternal flame within them won’t remain there. I respect that.

People with dignity can arrive at any station in life, and maintain it, even if only in their demeanor. You act respectful of others no matter your station.

Taking a whiz through someone’s mail slot is a very disrespectful thing to do. It’s a violation of the other person’s personal space.

I don’t understand that kind of thinking.
