I’m not saying that I want such massive power at all times. Normally both should only be used by state and local police — not federal.

Right now we have sanctuary cities. Unleash this technology for the next five years, especially in key hot spots. An exit date needs to be in the legislation.
Someone mentioned stings around Western Unions. But I don’t think the company should be punished but instead be secretly paid to assist. [Well, there are so many progressive snitches-against-patriotism that it would be a badly kept secret.] So, we might need agents secretly working on the receiving end outside the US who hack into the system and maybe work with a few inside the company.
