On Wednesday, Sept. 7, NBC News and MSNBC — along with the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America — will host the “The Commander-in-Chief Forum” in New York City.
It will be one-hour forum where Clinton and Trump will answer questions about national security, military affairs and veterans issues in front of an audience mainly made up of members of the military. The two candidates will not be on the stage at the same time, but will instead go back to back.
It’s worth nothing that Lauer is listed as a “notable past member” on the Clinton Global Initiative’s website — along with Anderson Cooper and Katie Couric.
In the past, a Clinton Foundation official has said that the journalists who are part of the foundation were never asked to pay the $20,000 member fee.
“In fact, in 2012, we reclassified members of the media who participate as ‘guests’ rather than ‘members’ to acknowledge this distinction,” the official has said.

However, Trump has to be careful about fthe MSM trying to mitigate Hitlery’s failure to have a single press conference in over 270 days.
If Trump refuses, the narrative would be: he’s afraid, he is disrespectful to the ‘military’! Of course, that particular ‘military’ will be a bunch of rabid progressives who may boo him and shout him down to get under his skin. Maybe this is what their psychiatrists came up with.
Yes it’s an obvious setup and the liberals think they will get to ambush trump and throw softballs to Hillary that make her look statesman-like but I see this as a classic Wiley Coyote situation. Trump will start his first answer by ignoring the question and laying in to how Lauer is a Clinton Foundation flunky and how nasty and corrupt the whole Clinton Foundation thing is . When Lauer tries to hit back or defend himself Trump will lay in to the Leftist media in general and talk about how they have openly plotted to attack Trump and have openly said how this election is too important to their leftist cause to try to be impartial or non-partisan. It will be a Circus and the takeaway will be all about crooked Hillary and her crooked media pals. It will setup the real debates so that most people going into it will rightfully believe that the moderator and media an
d trying to throw it to Hillary and are unfair to Trump.

Trump should insist on a moderator who is not part of the Clinton organization in ANY way. If nothing else, he makes the point public that the very moderator is a Clinton devotee.

When Mr. Khan devil gets his involvement with the Clinton Foundation and pay his back taxes that the IRS is giving him a pass on.

Mr. Trump, please pay attention. Don't back out. But insist on two moderators, one picked by you and one picked by Hillary. Nothing could be fairer than that.
