The anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks weighs heavily on the minds of Minnesota Muslims as they prepare to celebrate one of the most important holy days of the year.
For weeks they had worried that Monday’s Eid al-Adha, which marks the end of the annual pilgrimage to Mecca, might fall on the 9/11 anniversary. Though the sighting of the moon placed this year’s Eid on Sept. 12, the proximity of a major holiday and a painful anniversary has fueled anxiety and led community leaders and local law enforcement to tighten security measures for Eid celebrations.
“There has been a long internal discussion about this since last year,” said Jaylani Hussein, executive director of the local chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). “The overwhelming answer has been that the community should do what they are doing, but there should be extra vigilance.”
CAIR has issued safety guidelines to mosque leaders and community members.

I fully expect to read commentaries about how insensitive 9-11 remembrances are to Muslims and that we shouldn’t have them any more.

The Saudis have over 100,000 luxury, air-conditioned tents, that each holds about 18 people. These tents are ONLY used during these 5 days or so of the Hajj pilgrimage. The Saudis refuse to take in any of the so-called “refugees” that have been flooding Europe. Apparently, they’re a safety threat.

Islam ALTERS the story entirely, falsely portraying the incident to have occurred in the valley of Mecca (in present-day Saudi Arabia) -- where Abraham never went in his life -- and replaces Issac with his bastard son Ishmael, conceived through his concubine Hagar. What is sick about the Muslim "version" is that Abraham actually tries to cut Ishmael's throat, but nothing happens. Islam also ridiculously claims that Abraham and Ishmael together built the "kaaba" altar in Mecca where Muslims do their pigrammage.

Where can they point to in this country that has committed terrorist acts against them? Someone looked at them and offended them? Acts of violence against them? Where is the fear coming from? They know full well who is responsible for all the terrorist attacks and they’re afraid of us? Afraid we’ll learn all their dirty little secrets - where the next attack might be coming from? Who has a bomb factory in their kitchen?
