Senator Ted Cruz took to Twitter today to slam the recent spate of spoiled athletes, like San Francisco 49ers backup QB Colin Kaepernick, who have disrespected our flag and National Anthem.
After former NBA player and current ESPN analyst Jalen Rose tweeted, “Salute to all @Nfl players & teams that peacefully did protests for change. #standfornothingfallforanything,” Cruz went off and called for a boycott of the “rich spoiled athletes.”

I’ll do my best to appreciate his comments but after Chicago I fee like he just runs his damn mouth. No disrespect to you BFAC.
I despise Cruz, but then again, God used a donkey to get a job done once. So, I’m glad he told them off.

Ted signed the agreement BEFORE Trump started calling Lyin’ Ted hundreds of times. Personally I believe Trump could have won without all the name calling.
We shouldn’t blame Cruz for being bitter. He fought a good fight and simply came up short.
Cruz has been a good effective conservative voice in the Senate. And barring a promotion to the SCOTUS we should keep him there for many years.
Ping me when Cruz endorses Donald Trump.
This issue is right in Ted’s political wheelhouse. Guarantee his supporters are gobbling it up.

Actors and pro athletes are ENTERTAINERS. They exist because the public craves their services not because they are smart or social pioneers.
Many have learned to manipulate the media to get their names out there. One jerk does something and the next weekend, the copycats are out in force. The bright side of this is that all those threatening to leave the country need someone to lead the way.
Colin Kaepernick in particular is a case of pathetic hypocricy. A mixed race baby abandoned at birth was adopted by an all white family and has enjoyed priveledge all of his life. Yet, somehow suddenly he is the image of empathy all the copycats are jumping on the bandwagon to imitate.
It is pathetic, it is humorous at the same time. If he tried that with Tom Landry, he would have been a former Cowboy by the end of the anthem.
You cannot get the stink off a turd.
Kaepernick and his fellow-player pukes are a sideshow.
The real story is how the NFL has no problem with its employees sticking their collective thumb in the eye of the customer re the flag and the national anthem.
