The Los Angeles Times paid a visit to Donald Trump’s Southern California headquarters in Long Beach on Monday and was stunned by the diversity of volunteers who are committed to seeing him win the Golden State and the presidency.
“It was as if the whole thing had been staged, in Cambodia Town, no less, to belie the notion that Trump’s appeal is largely limited to older white males,” the Times‘s Steve Lopez wrote. In Long Beach, one of America’s most diverse cities, that same diversity was reflected in Trump’s supporters at his Southern California headquarters.
Lopez spoke with a woman and millennials of Filipino descent, a Mexican-American, and a Jewish man, and saw the “names of volunteers from the African-American, Hispanic and Asian communities” written on blackboards adorning the names of volunteers. He noted that “two middle-aged white people [also] joined the party.”
Trump’s grand opening for his headquarters took place this past Saturday, and Breitbart News was there to cover it. As Lopez was told, there were hundreds of people there over the course of the opening; many of them were able to enjoy a performance that was put on by dancers from the Khmer Arts Cultural Center, known as a traditional Cambodian “blessing dance;” something Lopez wrote he would have paid to see.
Lopez wrote that an unnamed Mexican-American Trump volunteer told him that “there are too many illegals here… and they dirty the place up and they take jobs and do things hey shouldn’t.” Lopez noted that once he found out he was with the Times, the man said “the only thing the Times is any good for is to wrap fish in it,” before walking away.

This discovery must have surprised Lopez more than meeting the homeless, virtuoso violinist that he wrote about and got turned into a movie with Robert Downey and Jamie Foxx. The Trump candidacy would make an even more compelling film - you should call your Hollyweird producers again, Lopez.

Dear Liberals,
You were right that there is no diversity in the Trump campaign. You were just wrong about what you perceive as diverse.
Trump supporters are not all alike in skin color, gender, ancestry, or religion. What they have in common is this:
1. They are all proud to be Americans.
2. They want to preserve and protect the USA. That means they want to keep invaders out. They want to keep out those who intend to do harm to the country, whether by acts of terrorism, war, violence, or by the degradation of the American culture, destruction of free markets, or scamming of the American people in any way.
3. They want to stop those who do harm from within. That means that they want to remove the corrupt politicians and crony capitalists from positions where they fleece the public, via taxes or any other means.
4. They are fed up with being lied to by politicians.
5. They are fed up with working hard only to have politicians steal the fruits of their labor.
6. They are fed up with the attitude that politicians are better than the people and know what’s best for the people. (Yet what they foist on us is not what they choose for themselves.)
7. They are fed up with a judicial system that picks and chooses what laws it will enforce and who it will prosecute.
8. They are fed up with a judicial system that is based on redefining what simple well-understood words have always meant to normal Americans. (Like “is”, “marriage”, “rights”, “tax”, “immigration”, “path to citizenship”.)
That’s a brief list of the ways in which we are NOT diverse.

I really wonder about this. I am puzzled as to why she’s spending any money here. I’ve seen more HRC commercials than I care to count. I always thought it was because she, like all liberals, is profligate with other people’s money.
