Saturday Morning Coffee Bump.

Bo found a turtle at the lake yesterday. Still feels warm but not as bad as this summer.

Hai, well maybe perhaps. If I can get based in Denver I can stay here in Seattle and get hops to Denver for my flights. Then there’s Orlando or Newark or Chicago.

Thank You.

I did the Alzheimers Walk this morning 5K..about 4 miles. There were thousands of people there. It was terrific! :-)

Glad I could be a part of it!

My walk was in honor of my Dad and my B-I-L, who has early onset.

It helped revive my spirits a bit.

Good afternoon, Kathy.

Hope you’re well-rested after a nice long night’s sleep.

I’ll keep the ol’ appendages crossed for luck you get some “me time” today. That would be a nice change for you.

No rain yesterday and the festival was able to kick off nicely.
Looks like we won’t get through today dry, though. Just scattered showers, at least, and no storms so that’ll be manageable. Just hope it doesn’t rain at closing time because that’s when the fireworks go off. WOOHOO!

Glad the Alzheimer’s Walk went off well this morning. Sounds like it was a good time for all, and it’s for a good cause.

He passed away while we were at the hospital but it was inevitable. he had had prostate cancer. The doctors cured that but it affected the rest of his organs and particularly his heart. He was 78 and had lived a very full, productive, happy life.

When someone leads a good, long life it does not affect me as much as when a young person expires before they have had a chance to experience life.

It was very well attended, the weather was great, no mishaps, and everything on schedule.

That’s the way to run a program! :-)

Ooooooh, I’m so sorry. Nice that he had family with him at the time but I know it was a tough night for all of you.

Same thing happened to Dad. They cured the prostate cancer but it kept coming back elsewhere over the next 20 years. It finally took him last year.

Y’all are in my prayers.
