Bill Clinton on Sunday acknowledged that some of the donors to the Clinton Foundation likely made those donations in order to influence foreign policy, when Hillary Clinton led the State Department.
But in a Sunday interview with NPR, Clinton insisted that the donations never influenced policy.

No reason to say that out of nowhere.
It’s certainly not on the same level, but my aunt, whose child, now 39 has Thalassemia and my aunt runs the foundation. She was a state senator’s right and woman for MANY year.
She checks were a LITTLE too big from people not well known and she would call those folk and thank them, ask them if they’re sure they wanted to donate this much because besides tax deduction, they would get NOTHING.
My aunt is TOUGH.
Why would bill say this unless it was understood.

And as long as we’re on the topic, the appropriate response to a bribery attempt, Bill, is to refuse the money, not take the money and then fail to deliver. Naturally an honest and above-board ex-President would know that...but does BJ Billy?

It depends on your definition of ‘donor’.
Bill Clinton is a wild card, IMO, because his mental lucidity is not what it should be to astutely avoid getting into the fray about all of Hillary’s lies and scandals.
Maybe he should start inhaling.

Yup. Bubba is just to inoculate them because he knows the Clinton Foundation is still under scrutiny.
Typical Clintons’ play book: let the news out in bits, and when people finally start to notice, claim that those questions have already been addressed.

Years ago I heard stories about people in the ME getting tired of so many Americans coming over to ‘give speeches’. That part of the world deals with bribes on a regular basis - - part of the culture - and they resented being taken advantage of.
This is the , ‘I did not have sex with that woman....Miss Lewinsky’, moment.
