I understand your inner conflict completely. I hate that I hate, but there it is.
One can also PRAY for the lifting of all hatred from one's heart.
I didn’t listen to ten seconds of the jug-eared jerk before I turned the station.
I’m not much of a righteous anger guy.
I’m not such a good Christian so I’ll do all the hating for everybody.
I can cover it.
That does not qualify as a vanity. Your post is FR first hand reporting. Good job.
You are absolutely right. This is why I avoid listening to liberals, especially these two. It just makes me mad and puts me in a place I don't want to be. Better to avoid that altogether.
There is no love without hate. Don't take my word for it. Ask Jesus. (Luke 16:13.)
IMPEACH THE BASTARD SON OF A WHORE!
Wow. How long has he been rambling on. It’s all about me. Blah...blah...blah.
Hillary says that deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed, implying that the force of law should be used.
As a Christian, I struggle with a lot of sinful habits and find myself in need of His grace, mercy and forgiveness very often. But I also struggle with my contempt and what I think is outright hatred for people like 0bama, the Clintons, establishment Democrats and Republicans, etc.
Jesus taught us that hate is a sin no different than murder. While my reason for hating are just, my hatred is not just and God does not like it.
I have to remind myself God loves them too and Jesus died for them as well. I remind myself of than and it helps. Then I pray for God to remove them from postions of power and replace them with more Godly people. Then I pray for those in power to repent and turn their hearts to the Lord.
Try it. You will feel better spiritually.
I don’t think it is hateful or wrong to hate Evil.
Go TRUMP! BE done with this crap.
Adopt Sun Tsu’s attitude and LEARN THE ENEMY
“Do not I hate them, O Lord, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee? I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.”
Psalm 139:21-22
Christianity is not always just green fields and dozing sheep, nor submission to earthly powers. Sometimes it is kicking over the banksters’ tables and laying about with a whip. Sometimes it is shoving a sword into a corrupt ruler’s guts. Sometimes it is hanging Haman from his own gallows.
Churchianity is no substitute; it is a make believe form of worship, bound by hall monitors’ rules. Christianity is much more complex, and non-intuitive.
It’s ok to hate satan.
It’s ok to hate evil.
Since Obama is 99% evil it’s ok to hate that part. The 1% that is human? I commit that to the mercy of God.
I have no problem praying that 1. o’evilone comes to his senses or 2. that he and the Lord of the universe meet face to face very quickly.
Angels27 probably has better advice though :-)
Still - I sense God’s anger toward some of these people. So it is not just me. I would not want to be in their shoes and there, but for the mercy of God, go I.
I was a flaming lib when young.
The Golden Rule applies here. Most of us don’t want to be hated, and should not hate in turn. Plus, we really, REALLY should not wish hell on anyone. God Himself wishes all mankind to be saved; we can do no less:
2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.
We need to pray that Obama is stricken with guilt, goes down on his knees and begs forgiveness. After that, he’d spend what remains of his term praising God and undoing as much of the damage he’s done as he possibly can. We all win.
1 John 4:20
If someone says, I love God, and hates hisbrother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen.

Your response brings a smile to my face. My prayer group has been praying for the conversion of President Obama for about 5 years now. We all have a prayer card from ALL, a pro-life group.
After we complete our usual prayers we all get out our Obama ‘prayer cards’ and recite the prayer. Maybe the fact that it has not been fruitful is a measure of our reticence in praying it.
May God forgive us in our lack of charity toward Obama’s immortal soul.
