Saw the cover of that rag and KNEW that it would not be a serious look at these partisan hacks using these shows to shove political propaganda in people’s faces.
“comics are ditching balance and taking sides”
“Sides” implying more than one, which is a lie.

Article lists a lot of people. Did not recognize any comedians.

Amazing how today’s lackluster, failed comedians get jobs, shows and magazine covers.
To: N. Theknow
Well, they are supposedly comedians. It’s just that NONE of them are actually funny.

What’s “Time”?
Weren’t they big in the ‘70s when global cooling was the in thing?

I recognize the names of a few. But they are not worth watching or listening to. I miss the old comedians from the sixties and seventies.

Who can blame them after it’s working out so well for the NFL? (see other thread)

The Sept. 26 issue of Time magazine cover featured the heads of comedians Stephen Colbert, Samantha Bee, John Oliver, Trevor Noah, Seth Meyers and Jimmy Kimmel, and the headline "We Joke. You Decide."Combined they form an echo chamber. And if they weren't on the cover of Time, no one would be able to put the faces with names. They represent the end of comedy.

Zoglin quoted Bee saying that Jon Stewart "worked really hard to try to be nonpartisan." ROTFLMAO!

Time is an eight page brochure you can generally find in your dentist’s office.

Zoglin quoted Bee saying that Jon Stewart "worked really hard to try to be nonpartisan." Baloney. But he also proclaimed that the departures of Stewart, David Letterman and Colbert's fake-Bill-O'Reilly brought "an unexpected and largely unappreciated payoff." Did he also mention that ratings are down, down, down!?

The comedians and the press must favor "the truth." That's the Clinton side -- the lovers of "truth"? Trump's existence is somehow entirely mythical, as Bee contended saying, "News organizations simply are not equipped to cover a candidate whose entire being is a lie." Woe to him that calls evil good, and good evil.

If Trump wins, The Machine is going to go into full overdrive.
Fortunately, unlike GWB, Trump doesn’t play a defense-only game.

Did they mention how in the toilet the leftist comedy has sent their money making ratings?

All the pretense has been dropped. The democrat/communist media/entertainment propaganda complex that has existed for decades finally admits that it is what it is.
