I have a better idea. Hire 12 Navy Black Ops types and secretly kidnap every gang leader and do an SSS on him. Eventually the problems will stop when people start wondering what happened to Malik and Rico.
The problem is the welfare society created the feral, fatherless gimmedats. That isn’t a problem that can be solved by city government. So, city government is like a hammer that sees the entire world as a nail. They can hire more cops and say, there, we did something. No effort will be made to compare the before-the-extra-cops to after-the- extra-cops. Governments are not results driven. They simply react. And, because their power is so limited by other, bigger governments, courts and having to run for office every four years, their reactions can only be a tiny handful of ineffectual (but expensive and vote-getting) gestures.
Precisely, who the Hell would want to be a cop anywhere in this country?
If Hillary is elected, I suggest anyone with any sense leave the profession immediately...it will become a suicide mission.
Except it won’t really be 1000. About half of those are promotions of current officers.
Any white male who applies for one of these positions deserves the hell about to be placed on them. Unfortunately, some people need to be employed.

Heard on Chicago radio this morning: this is nothing but a PR move by Chicago mayor Tiny Dancer. He is counting 500 promotions within the department as “hires”. Then he’s hiring 400 new officers. But somehow the press release fails to mention that at the same time 800 officers are retiring, meaning the department has a NET LOSS of headcouunt. No increase whatsoever.

Yes - and what they don’t mention is 500 cops are retiring next year - there will not more cops.

4. develop state laws that make it a felony to form gangs or be a gang member
5. a gang would consist of people who joined to coerce, demand money or belongings of others, or committed felonious acts
6. every member of a gang whose member committed a felony as party of a gang activity, would be considered as guilty of that act as the one who committed the act. (These acts benefit every member of the gang.)

.c a person take money for protection, every gang member is complicit
.d a person rapes someone, every gang member is complicit
7. increase sentences for those who commit a crime, while a gang member
8. do away with laws that expunge the acts of a minor, if they were committed during gang activity
9. any minor that commits a felony, would serve felony time
.a no breaks for young kids who kill so the older kids won’t have to face adult prison sentences
You implement a system like this, and one year later you won’t have gangs
We need to see what happens in the Philippines in the next few months.
