The 90 minute debate will be divided into six time segments of approximately 15 minutes each on major topics to be selected by the moderator and announced at least one week before the debate. The moderator will open each segment with a question, after which each candidate will have two minutes to respond. Candidates will then have an opportunity to respond to each other. The moderator will use the balance of the time in the segment for a deeper discussion of the topic.

That’s for sure.
I think it comes down to this. Hillary responded to all the questions like a rehearsed politician and Trump sounded like one of us out there in America who isn’t a politician. I think the American people are preferring the non-politician. Frankly, I think he did well tonight, not great, but well enough that I don’t think the polls will move all that much. Then again, the MSM spin will be she won overwhelmingly tonight. Let’s get used to it folks. It will be a roller coaster ride all the way to November 8th. I will agree with a lot of you that Trump left some hanging curveballs on Hillary out there without nailing them, but I’m sure that his kids, especially Ivanka, are gonna tell him he left opportunities on the floor, and that won’t happen in the next two debates.
I made the right choice in skipping the debate to watch the new season of Longmire on Netflix. After scanning the comments on this thread, I've come to the conclusion that there was more back-biting, name calling, and muck-throwing between Freepers than between the candidates.
It was in New Jersey though.

I anticipated Hillary doing fairly well. This was much worse than I imagined. I wanted to see the Trump from his rallies. I wanted him to look into the camera and shrug and say “I can’t believe you are here debating me when X, Y, and Z are serving time behind bars for less than you allegedly did....”
I can’t believe he fell for having to defend himself on all the points her earpiece told her to slam him with.

I’m surprised that Holt didn’t collect 10% or so from casual viewers. He made almost as many political statements as the candidates!
