I flew over DiCaprio’s private island in Belize several times earlier this month. For a guy who is so worried about Global Warming, he sure picked a hot & humid place for a private get-away!
Perhaps Baffin Island would be more amenable to him as a vacation spot?

It was laughable...a thespian playing a scientist in the marble halls of DC government.
The "Alar Scare" plus Streep's well-publicized and fawned-over testimony, devastated the apple industry, drove tens of thousands of growers, truckers, packers, etc. out of employment, and caused uncounted consumers to stop buying one of our most healthy products for a long time.
No scientific evidence of harm done to anyone by Alar was ever found.
Obama isn't dumb by insinuating non-scientist DiCaprio into the White House to promote another one of his "destroy the American economy" ecological measures. Celebrities play key roles in shaping public opinion among uninformed and gullible voters, particularly right now before the November election. This timing isn't coincidence!
Obama and DiCaprio will be meeting to mutually pat each other on the back...and to mutually use each other as pawns in their own political and personal agendas.

Maybe old Leo does know alot about global warming / climate change? After all, he has a number of mansions, yachts and jets that pour tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere.

Di caprio and Damon were so unforgettable in ‘The Departed’ that one melted into the other and you couldn’t tell who was who. Complete lack of character. Arguably Scorsese’s worst movie, thanks to these 2 nothing’s. Nicholson, btw, was his usual top form. Now there is character.
