Victims of 9/11 and their families were dramatically given the go-ahead to sue Saudi Arabia on Wednesday as Congress over-rode President Obama's veto on a bill allowing the lawsuits.
In a dramatic day, the Senate voted first to overturn President Barack Obama's veto of the Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act.
It voted 97 to one against the veto - a situation called 'embarrassing' by the White House, which is furious at the legislation.

Boy am I on the wrong side of this. Yeah I love overturning a veto, and the Saudis deserve this...but I’m not so sure this law is a good one. Now anybody overseas can sue us...US pilots over Afghanistan? A farmer on the ground could have a good case. I feel bad for the 911 families...but we have also compensated them with millions.
The Won can effectively “sustain his veto” with some pallets of cash aboard a few C5 night flights.

Doesn’t Obama have a pen and a phone? He’ll just veto it again and double dog dare congress to override it again.
