The Senate’s top Republican Thursday warned that legislation enacted over President Barack Obama’s veto to allow families of Sept. 11 victims to sue Saudi Arabia in U.S. courts may have “unintended ramifications” and that lawmakers should discuss fixes to the measure.

Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., said the White House was too slow to warn about the “potential consequences” of the measure. Both the House and Senate overwhelmingly overrode Obama’s veto of the measure on Wednesday.

McConnell said he told the president recently that the 9/11 victims bill “was an example of an issue that we should have talked about much earlier.” …

Instead of worrying about his Saudi paymasters, he should be stopping Obama from giving away the internet.
But that would be putting America first and that would not occur to Yertle.

Congress should be fixing the Internet giveaway and spend most of its time getting the spending under control.

Ditch Mitch

Why pass a bill if the intention was not to pass a bill? Should have fixed the bill before it was put on the Presidents desk. Unless of course the bill was intended to do nothing.

First you have the show vote and then you quietly change the law to make it meaningless. This is similar to what happened to the Secure Fence Act of 2006—a bill that both Obama and Hillary voted for.

McTraitor was busy. Read up on the new SEC rule loophole he jammed into the funding bill that will allow corporations to make political donations anonymously now.

Yeah, they’ll fix it alright. Watch these creeps systematically take this bill apart so that no lawsuits can ultimately proceed.

republicrats don’t want to piss-off the sheeted ones.

Smoke and mirrors. That’s all it ultimately is.

McConnell’s father should have been “fixed” so that America wasn’t saddled with this pompous Democrat lapdog.

Sleezy, lying crooked surrender monkey and collaborator.

If you are a Republican in this clown’s state, vote against him in the next primary. If he gets nominated, VOTE FOR THE DEMOCRAT to get him the hell out.

Ditto for Paul Ryan.

Instead of protecting his foreign enemy financiers - he should file articles of impeachment against their chief puppet O and Kerry and etc. ASAP

Many of the Bush Family cabal went to work for the Saudis, including James Baker, Brent Scowcroft and Cap Weinberger (deceased), McConnell is probably on the payroll somehow, as are MANY other Republicans.
