Poor children. What a drama. If it were a more usual situation with a husband and wife and the wife leaving for another man, they’d be expected to work out custody and visitation and such. In this case, though, the other woman/lesbian/lover/psuedo-”wife” needs to but out. It is a fact that most kids won’t recognize both women as “mom” anyway. In lesbian households, there is a mom and then this other other woman who is usually the equivalent of stepmom. Kids rarely recognize both equally. Funny how little kids just seem to know from birth the way it is supposed to work. They always eventually ask where their dad is and that’s when the firestorm begins.
The lesbian often accuse their own children of homophobia because they yearn for a father in their lives. No matter how they slice it, the lesbians always manage to paint themselves as the victims.
