From Politico: Donald Trump has officials in this world capital of trade running scared. Faced with the prospect of a U.S. president who pledges to rip up trade agreements, slap tariffs on allies and pull out of the World Trade Organization, top trade officials are in various states of denial and dread.

Yes, we have, by not forcing them to pay their agreed to shares for NATO and other mutual defense pacts, allowed them to conserve their resources so that they could continue to use their money for their welfare states. So essentially, we have been, by extension, been funding welfare payments around the world. Trump needs to make this connection for the voters.

As well they should. The US will no longer assume a submissive position. And secretly, they know this is good for the long haul.
I always pictured these leaders as the snot-nosed kid, holding onto their mother’s skirt as they hurled insults at us. The progs saw that as “they don’t like us” but heaven forbid mom turns her back and lets the kid fend for himself. We don’t need to be liked; we need to be respected.

No surprise here. They want to continue to have the US as a patsy and steal our wealth from us. Bad trade deals and security agreements have us subsidizing the world. And this doesn’t include the $125 billion a year that leaves the US annually in the form of remittances.
