Why wait until next year? Simply cease cooperation right now.
Otherwise, delay will be seen as denial and an attempt to thwart the popular will.
(Is she waiting to see how the US election turns out?)

The delay gives the Civil Service time to write the White Paper that will be forwarded for its first reading in the House.
Think of it as debugging time. :)

There are practical considerations that prevent this being done instantly. British and EU laws are so intertwined that if you just say we are repealing all the EU crap without making sure what that entails and that there are appropriate British laws either on the books or ready to, could cause chaos.
This is not like turning a light switch on or off. The EU cancer has become so widespread in the British body that it will require careful surgery to get it all out without causing serious harm.

About time! Now the Parliament needs to invoke Article 50 of the EU Charter.

I don’t trust her or other established major party politicians because in the end they are subordinate to big business and big banks that want a world system-transnational system for their own benefit.

Parliament can abrogate EU membership by repealing the law that enabled it in the first place.
Its faster than invoking Art. 50 of the EU treaty.

Sort of like asking Dr. Ben Carson to separate conjoined twins where one infant is parasitic, and quickly draining the life out of the other.

Her Brexit trio are very smart men. They are “big picture” administrators who will likely both make the transition smooth and definite, so that later governments (think Labour) will not be able to quickly undo the Brexit and go sniveling back to Brussels.
