Flash poll: GOP voters sticking with Trump

Despite hurricane-force media hype that Donald Trump’s locker room talk over a decade ago precludes him from the presidency, the GOP base is ignoring its leadership and standing by Donald Trump. A poll by Politico shows:

A wave of Republican officials abandoned Donald Trump on Saturday, but, at least for now, rank-and-file Republicans are standing by the party's presidential candidate, according to a new POLITICO/Morning Consult poll conducted immediately after audio was unearthed Friday that had the GOP nominee crudely bragging about groping women and trying to lure a married woman into an affair.

Overall, fewer than four-in-10 voters -- 39 percent -- think Trump should end his presidential campaign, while only slightly more voters, 45 percent, think he should not drop out.

But voters are largely viewing Trump's comments through their own partisan lens: 70 percent of Democrats say Trump should end his campaign, but just 12 percent of Republicans -- and 13 percent of female Republicans -- agree.

Seems like this 'hole' kerfuffle over guys BSing with each other will reveal those that were never really on the DJT train in the first place. Talkin' about tryin' to put the moves on some chick vs supporting someone who has actually carried through the act numerous times and even travelled to Pedophile Island on several occasions. I see juan maclame has withdrawn his support. Guess he forgot he was still married when he put the moves on the current mrs. mclame. Hope someone is making a list of the turncoats. The dnc on the other hand, it doesn't matter what their nominee says or does, even if they are obvious lies and distortions, they circle the wagons and defend to the end no matter what. Sadly, the ignos buy it. Just sent back a gopE survey with big bold black sharpie words of "NOT UNTIL YOU SUPPORT OUR NOMINEE, WILL YOU GET ANY DONATIONS. IF EVER."

I’m not voting for down ballot Republicans.

Any one who disowned Trump gets shown the back of my hand.

Bye to establishment scum!

Every time they pull this kind of crap it only makes Trump stronger.

Them being so smart and all, you’d think they’d eventually figure it out.

At least for now, voters are sticking with Trump? I’d say they’re going to stick around until the election if they’re going to stick with him in this media storm. GOP voters will probably get angrier as this continues.

There’s no reason to give it to Hillary. It’s time to make Hillary sweat. She deserves it.

RESIST THE MEDIA!
RESIST THE DEMOCRATS!
RESIST TYRANNY!

The only voters that this whole weekend thing affected...were independent voters who haven’t made up their mind. Maybe out of a hundred women...seventy-five percent have edged closer to Hillary. For independent men? This statement might have actually convinced most to vote for Trump.

The GOP has put us in a terrible position. Within hours of a story they betrayed our nominee like fools. Running to CNN. they are potentially destroying America and they will lose the Senate now, and yes maybe the House as well. But hey, why think or care

Read last night that paulie girl ryan got embarrassed when he appeared on stage “sans” DJT and the crowd started chanting TRUMP!, TRUMP, TRUMP. True colors on display. The gopE could take a lesson from the dnc about backing your nominee no matter what.

I don't have a problem with Trump.

The media didn't have a problem with Clinton.

Next?

If facebook posts (I don’t go on twitter) are any indication, most people are defending Trump and are disgusted with the hypocrisy of the media, Hillary and GOP neverTrumpers. The majority of comments on Hillary and John McCain’s facebook pages are overwhelmingly pro-Trump, pointing out their hypocrisy with thouasnds of likes. People are angry.

If they all lose, I would be happy.

Since they want to take Trump out, they will go down with him.

I wouldn’t miss them for the world.

They can’t back our party’s nominee and there’s no reason to trust them to take care of our affairs in Washington.
