A federal judge ordered Florida election officials to extend the state's voter registration deadline to October 18, in response to damage and disruption caused by Hurricane Matthew.

The state's original deadline was October 11.

Florida Democrats and the state's League of Women Voters asked the judge for the extension. Gov. Rick Scott initially refused to push back the deadline, saying late last week, "Everybody has had a lot of time to register."

Anyone else notice that the “League of Women Voters” appears to be a wholly owned arm of the leftists and Democrat Party?

> What could the judge do to compel Florida to abide by his ruling? Send Federal agents in to arrest the Governor? Impose financial sanctions against the state?

My daughter had her first daughter on the day Bill Clinton was elected the first time. We called the League of Women Voters to the hospital so she could vote. They could see she voted Republican. The lady taking the ballot didn’t look too happy. I’ve always wondered if her vote was cast or altered.

Arrest the Federal Judge on charges of Election Tampering.

Then extend voting deadline for all rural Republican couties. Deny it for Democrat cities.

Future Alinskyite Republicans get with it.

If republicans would use it to register more republicans, it could be the saving grace for trump. It’s a gift.

back in the time of the bush/gore mess bush won because the federal courts ruled that in federal elections federal rules apply

As this is a federal election coming up they are probably correct in being the ones to make the rules

Governor should just order them no, and defy the court.

Courts are not unbound.. they can rule whatever they want, but they can’t enforce jack!

This is a clear violation of the constitution and Florida’s rights.

Yep, so why do we need legislators?]

The state should ignore the judges ruling just like obama ignores judges rulings. He is clearly overstepping his bounds and writing state law.

Also, under the law only the Legislature can extend a registration period. The Dems just scream and shout to slime those who try to follow the law, and win political points.

The same thing they are doing to law enforcement.

Let’s see how many Dems request an absentee ballot early, vote, and then take up residence elsewhere, register again and vote again.

They always look for holes in the system. Before a vote should be certified, there should be a cross reference of all voters who cast ballots across a state, to see if people have voted in multiple places. With modern technology this should be possible. The cross reference should also be against death certificate records, and all lists of non-citizens.

If the Mexican and Indian governments can require a government issued photo ID, what’s the problem here?

All of these MF's except for Trump do a cost /benefit analysis before taking a position.

Rick Scott obviously is a PUSSY and has decided the risk to STAND UP FOR FLORIDA is not worth it.

BASTARDS!!!!!

They WILL STEAL FLORIDA !!!!!!!!
