'Russian Hacker' Arrested Last Week, Announcement "Tactically Delayed" Until Day Of US Debate

Two days before the Obama administration formally accused the Russian government of hacking Democrats, NYTimes reports that a man identified as a "Russian hacker suspected of pursuing targets in the United States" was arrested in the Czech Republic. While the arrest was made on Oct 5th, officials stated that "we postponed the announcement for tactical reasons," which makes one wonder whether this is the debate-day-distraction Hillary needs?

The United States director of national intelligence, James R. Clapper Jr., said in a statement on Oct. 7 that high-level Russian officials were trying to interfere with American elections.

“The recent disclosures of alleged hacked emails on sites like DCLeaks.com and WikiLeaks and by the Guccifer 2.0 online persona are consistent with the methods and motivations of Russian-directed efforts,” Mr. Clapper said. “These thefts and disclosures are intended to interfere with the U.S. election process.”

Mr. Clapper said that “such activity is not new to Moscow,” and he accused Russia of using similar tactics across Europe to influence public opinion.

“We believe, based on the scope and sensitivity of these efforts,” he said, “that only Russia’s senior-most officials could have authorized these activities.”

But, as The New York Times reports, a "russian hacker" was arrested two days before this... and the announcement delayed until today... Debate Day!?

A man identified as a Russian hacker suspected of pursuing targets in the United States has been arrested in the Czech Republic, the police announced Tuesday evening.

The suspect, who was captured in a raid at a hotel in central Prague, did not resist arrest, but he had medical problems and was briefly hospitalized, the police said in a statement.

David Schön, a police spokesman, said on Wednesday that the man, whose name has not been released, was arrested on Oct. 5. “We postponed the announcement for tactical reasons,” he said.

The statement said that “the man was a Russian citizen suspected of hacking attacks on targets in the United States,” and that the raid was conducted in collaboration with the F.B.I. after Interpol issued an arrest warrant for him.

A judge in Prague has ordered the man to remain in custody, and a court will examine whether to extradite him to the United States. Neither the Czech authorities nor the F.B.I. would supply further details.

Czech police said the suspect was traveling in the Czech Republic with his girlfriend and had a luxury car. Upon arrest, the man collapsed and was hospitalized, officials said. Extradition proceedings in Czech courts could see the suspect turned over to face possible charges in the United States. (via Google Translate)

Hacker is in custody

Rapid intervention experts quest.

Policemen investigation department of the Criminal Police and Investigation of the Police Presidium again successfully collaborated with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The aim of the police was this time a Russian citizen suspected of hacking attacks on targets in the United States. On the search was called Interpol issued. RED NOTICE.

With the rapid flow of information, the man was detained for 12 hours after receiving the first operational information. In the Czech Republic moved luxury car accompanied by his girlfriend. For the actual arrest took place in a hotel in the city center. Searched police crackdown was so surprised that no resistance. Immediately after the arrest of a man showed collapse and the state police had to take immediately provide first aid and was eventually hospitalized. The Municipal Court in Prague decided on the man's custody. The hacker's extradition to the US will now decide judicial authorities.

Authorities haven't released the suspect's name.

So is this the 'defense' tonight as Trump comes out swinging with the myriad of hard-to-explain incidents exposed in the DCLeaks and WikiLeaks emails? Can she simply bluff the American people into ignoring the disastrous content by distracting them with the messenger not the message?

This has been their defense all along. I didn't see a connection with this guy and the Russian government.

“These thefts and disclosures are intended to interfere with the U.S. election process.”

Assuming that this is referring to Wikileaks, just how is Wikileaks "interfering" with the election? By giving American voters a truthful and more complete understanding of its political parties?

The MSM will carry her water. There will be NO DOUBT that this guy is tied to the Russians. There might be war started.

I realize we’ve been in the process since the Resurrection, but is it possible that we are looking at an end times event here?

Notice that none of the DemocRATS have denied the Wikileaks emails, just that they are pi$$ed that they have been released.
The FEDs will jail anyone to take the focus off Illery, just as they did for Obamas reelection in 2012 for "the video that no one saw'.
The Slovak hacker arrest is a timed event, just more kabuki theater.

Trump should ask Hillary “in light of this how can you assure people with a straight face that your unsecured server wasn’t hacked?”

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

That would be an excellent rebuttal from Trump when she brings up the “Russian hacker”.

The other point is that the hackers don’t write the emails, just expose them .... she still has to account for the content of the emails. Of course it’s embarrassing, of course it shows she lies all the time, of course it shows that her staff wonders what planet she’s on some days, of course it shows collusion with a media that is as corrupt as the Clinton Crime Family, and of course it shows that every word out of her mouth is scripted to maximize the votes for her rather than her personal beliefs and vision for America.

He could really make some hay if she brings up the Russian hacker .... the emails exposed by Wikileaks are damaging & he’ll use them so she’s got to deflect away from the content & Trump should be “loaded for bear”.

We will all be surprised to find out that we are also “Russian agents” if Hillary gets into the White House. This forum will be cyber attacked, hit with phony IRS crap, and declared a criminal agent of “Russia”.

So I may as well just admit it right now, even though it is not true, that yes, I am an agent of Russia. In fact, I am Russian but never let the government in on it, the proof of this is my dentist is a Russian. He has a Russian accent, and most all of his clients are Russians or immigrants from Russia. So, since I go to a dentist in my health care plan at work who is a Russian, by God, there it is. Obviously I am also a Russian, and for sure a Russian agent and I get my orders from my dentist as to what is the latest Russian line I should propagandize on the internet.

If you have a Russian dentist, what out.

Who did the hacking is a secondary issue. The content revealed by the hacking is what’s most disturbing.

Maybe they will get away with this diversion but I hope not.

No one can come up with zingers faster than The Donald. She’d do well to avoid this whole topic but as Podesta wrote, she appears to live on a separate planet from the rest of us.

while an issue, basically nobody cares about any Russian hacker... what people care about is just how Crooked HilLIARy is..... taking SorozNazi and IslamoNazi money ...and selling out our defense secrets, high tech weapons systems, and citizenship to our Moslem enemies (and Communist China)

So, her defense against accusations that she so mis-handled sensitive information that it could be hacked, is that Russian intelligence operatives hacked her computer?

'While the arrest was made on Oct 5th, officials stated that "we postponed the announcement for tactical reasons," which makes one wonder whether this is the debate-day-distraction Hillary needs?'

Let me explain this - and I will use small words so that the New York Times and others on the Left can understand: they were also trying to round up this guy's buddies and wanted to try and preserve as much evidence as they could, lest others destroy the data and go into hiding... in other words, exactly what Hillary and her co-conspirators did.

From what I’ve heard from Hillary surrogates on TV is that some of those emails may have been tampered, and no one has time to verify their authenticity.
