The Maryland Republican governor is not a Trump supporter. He’s popular at the moment so that is not going to work in Trump’s favor.
However, if he can win Maryland, a very deep blue state, he’s likely to win the presidency in my humble opinion.

If Trump even comes close to winning Maryland, he easily wins the election. If he wins Maryland, it’s a landslide. Trumps internals must fantastic if he thinks he can win Maryland.
