Yup - this judge would be in big trouble here in Obama’s America - hats off to the brave judge who has put a halt to cramming it down into the Schools here in America, for however long.
Except on the rarest occasion genetically, there is always a wacked reason for a child’s problem with gender identity and rejection of biologically-determined sex. I read about a psychiatrist who helps treat men with this problem. The doctor himself struggled with it himself in his childhood and early adult years due to a grandmother who strongly influenced him to be a girl when he was with her, dressing up, playing, the whole 9-yards, but don’t ever tell mommy or daddy as they wouldn’t understand. Sick to be sure. Demonic to do this to an innocent child.

I've seen it happen with alleged dyslexia, ADHD and peanut allergies.
The kids in these cases had nothing wrong, except for disturbed mothers who manipulated their children into displaying symptoms.

I assume this story takes place in the UK although the extremely poor reporting does not bother to mention even what country this is taking place in.
What idiocy. It’s perfectly natural when a male toddler plays with dolls and a female likes trucks. It’s kids with big imaginations playing for crips sake. The gender roles will usually balance out in favor of the physiological gender. Don’t interfere fantasy play is natural. This woman has a mental problem with males.

I don’t know the specifics here, but I do know that in the UK, spouses are often referred to as “partner”.

Why do they seem to be deliberately withholding pronouns, though? Is that also UK style? They have to know that readers will wonder. If it does turn out to be two men, then the kid just jumped from one frying pan into another.
The UK taxes pronouns. Better to leave them out.
