[FROM OCTOBER 17, 2016] COULD TRUMP PULL A BREXIT-STYLE SURPRISE IN NOVEMBER?

During the Democratic primaries, pollsters were sure that Hillary Clinton would win in Michigan. The Real Clear Politics average of poll results had Clinton crushing Bernie Sanders by 21 points — 58% to 37%. The FiveThirtyEight blog gave Sanders less than a 1% chance of winning.

Final tally: Sanders 50%, Clinton 48%.

Yeah, I know this article is 6 days old, but if you haven't already read it, I recommend it. It is loaded with interesting data points about bad polling and poor turnout predictions from the folks that have been the most accurate Presidential Election predictors for three elections.

I remember November 1980. I was there, in line waiting among hundreds of others in my precinct.

I have that very same feeling today. I can literally see the tsunami that will unfold.

One thing we all know...supporting DJT has been so vilified by every single Rat,every single news source and many so called Republicans that it's understandable that supporters would keep quiet about it...even to pollsters.Just as Brexit was expected to fail even on the day of the vote I think things could be interesting next month.

During the primaries from NY to IN Trump over-performed his Real Clear Politics averages by 9 points. Even in Wisconsin, one of his biggest defeats, he over-performed his RCP average by .6.

There is definitely an enthusiasm gap between Clinton and Trump. Yesterday, he had 3 campaign events. Between his Facebook and youtube, all 3 events have had over 1 MILLION views as of last night. This morning I see that his Gettysburg speech has about 800,000 views just on youtube, and another 1.2 MILLION on his Facebook.

There is definitely something going on out there that the pollsters have failed to key into, either that or they know what is going on and they are desperately trying to derail it.

It is clearly like the NFL discussing why viewership is down over 10% this year. Why it is the weather, global warming, pumpkin picking, the election or people are taking their kids back to college that weekend. Anything but the really reason. The NFL has become totally PC. They forgot who they are much like Penney’s and Target. Tell me why a game that takes 60 minutes to play is now three and a half hours? The PC junk said by the announcers and the social commentary have driven people away. for me it’s grand daughter’s Sunday softball is more important. Pure love and joy. Bye bye NFL.

The IBD TPP tracking shows Trump slightly ahead. LA Times shows the race essentially tied with Trump slightly ahead. Rasmussen shows Trump ahead. The latest MI poll shows Clinton ahead by 5 in a 4 way 8 in a 2 way. I think Trump could very well win MI. While a lot of attention has been paid to the hispanic vote and the woman’s vote they are totally ignoring the male and white vote except when it is to deride it. Men tend to vote at a rate a few points less than women. Men tend to occupy those classes of manufacturing jobs that Trump is talking about bringing back. Trump is winning Men by double digits and in the LaTimes USC and IBD TPP tracking his man card is much bigger than Clinton’s woman card. I’ve not dug into the details of whether men are more likely to vote but I suspect that is indeed the case.

The question is, will Clinton accept the results?

Yes Trump could still win. He needs to take the advice of Conway, Newt, Pence, etal and run on the issues.

Talk of suing nobodies after the election makes him look very small and petty, especially to the undecided. We are against frivolous law suits.

Before election day, millions of voters will get notice of the increase in their health care premium. Trump should be carefully planning how to exploit the Healthcare issue.

The other thing Trump campaign should be doing is convincing his supporters to make friends with their neighbors.

I’ve participated in polls where I was cut off when I said I was a Republican female who was, yes, supporting Trump.

“Talk of suing nobodies after the election makes him look very small and petty, especially to the undecided. We are against frivolous law suits.”

Going after women liars out for money or 15 minutes of fame, who are trying to influence an election against Trump in order to help win an election for Hillary and the Dems, is NOT a frivolous issue.

I assume you are for the integrity of the election process, and not allowing liars, cheaters, and faux polls, to reign supreme. Also, you appear to be for Trump not responding to vicious attacks on his integrity and honesty, and would rather he just disarm and shut up rather than respond to these blatant false attacks on him. Does not compute. Were it me they were falsely attacking, I would be fighting back tooth and tong. Trump is doing just that. He will not let these women and their false accusations against him, stand.

Neither, I assume would you, were you in his shoes. You aren’t, so it’s easy for you to give him advice to do otherwise. Well, I won’t give him such advice. My advice is to sue the h*ll out of these women, at first chance. Scare future women liars with their false accusations, that if they come forward with bogus charges, there will be consequences. Shut down their Dem operation, and put them out of business. Sue the liars.

If what you say becomes true, and if I knew you, I would buy you the best bottle of scotch that I could find, just to celebrate my joy.

Winning in court is not the same as winning the election.

Trump (and supporters) need to decide which they want to win.

They are not mutually exclusive. Win both. By the way, you’ve got an apples and oranges thingy going here.
