Trump frustrated by lack of support from GOP establishment?

Donald Trump's campaign has ended fundraising events meant to support the Republican Party's get-out-the-vote efforts in next month's elections.

Aides to the Republican nominee told Fox News on Tuesday that Trump Victory, the joint fundraising committee for the GOP and the campaign, held its most recent fundraiser on Oct. 19 and no more such events were scheduled.

I agree with you. The spin is to suggest that Trump is throwing in the towel.

My Rep is a RINO-Deluxe.

Our closest GOOD Rep’s (Scott Garrett) district is about 1/4-mile up the road. I would’ve voted for him, as he has a serious Dem challenger this year.

But Freylinghuysen (my Rep) is worthless / useless / anonymous / usually hiding under his desk.

I'm with you. The courts are the key to our future. Obama appointees now make up 40% of all federal judges. If Hillary gets 4 or 8 years, we won't need a Congress. All laws will be created by judicial activists.

That some people insist on electing Trump, but not the people who will approve his judges, is the height of absurdity and wretchedness. Kamikaze is not my style so I've never understood it.

At this point in the election in 2012, the GOP ran 40 million dollars worth of ads for Romney. They have not run one ad and spent nothing. Why should Trump raise money, when he gets nothing out of it. He is dealing with snakes in a swamp.

Aides to the Republican nominee told Fox News on Tuesday that Trump Victory, the joint fundraising committee for the GOP and the campaign, held its most recent fundraiser on Oct. 19 and no more such events were scheduled. By contrast, the Post reported that Democrat Hillary Clinton's campaign has scheduled 41 fundraising events between now and Nov. 4. The former secretary of state was scheduled to make her last personal fundraising appearance Tuesday in Miami.

So the Trump Victory Comittee holds it's last GOP fundraiser a week ago and the headline screams that Trump is cutting off fundraising events for the Republican party. Meanwhile, Hillary makes her final appearance at a Dem fundraiser a week later but no implication that she is abandoning fundraising for the Democrat party?

Sure, her campaign is still holding "events," but without her, so what's the difference?

This article is designed to drive a wedge between Trump supporters and the GOP candidates running for Senate and the House. Don't fall for it!

They won’t lift a finger to help Trump if they’re returned to office. Unless he wins in a landslide of course which would, in any case, negate my non-vote. What makes you think Republicans want conservative judges?

Both the RNC and the DNC have stopped making their own ad buys for president. The campaigns and PACs have far greater abilities than in the past. It’s a change that crosses the political spectrum.

The Trump campaign, as frequently noted here on FR, has decided to spend far less on traditional advertising that past candidates. That was Trump’s personal decision.

It is true that Hillary and the Dems are outspending Trump by a wide margin.

I have no intention of voting for any Republican other than Trump on 11/8.

The GOP Congress has been supporting Hussein all these years. Does anybody really think they’ll support Trump?

Yes, he will verbally beat them into submission.

The RAT? He will only be able to verbally beat them, expose them.

All of this assumes we have 2 parties.

We do not.

We have one party: the uniparty.

If Pres Trump plays his cards right, he can promise anyone who votes with him support for re-election. And promise anyone who opposes him support for his/her opponent.

Screw party. George Washington was right. Political parties are a menace. You either vote with Trump, or you don’t. I don’t give a tinker’s dam anymore about the letter after the name.

Trump can spend more time with the 99%

Damn good idea.

No sense in subsidizing adversaries.
