When indoctrination is over done, people seek its opposite.

Look at the Soviet Union—after a couple of generations, the population was completely cynical about Communism. Russia’s resurgence is along traditional lines of nationalism and historic empire, not Marx.

My son’s school had a booth at their fair last week where students could vote for either Trump or Hillary. One student, one vote. Trump won 62%-38%, with more than 1,000 students casting a vote.

This is in a school where leftist indoctrination is a daily event and where the majority of parents are libs.

I can’t explain it, but it gives me hope.

I know this is all anecdotal information, but my son is 13 and very much identifies with the conservative movement. (I realize his father has influence). My sense is that he and his friends are unique from the Millennials and that they are unconsciously in reaction to this generation. They are much more practical and their instinct tells them that they have a lot of pieces to pick up from previous generations once they come of age.

Everyone knows that if TRUMP takes FL, OH, and PA (and Romney States), the race is WON!

Except for the Soros supplied voting machines. Bad stuff going on with these in Texas and I believe Ohio.

That’s surprising. I would have thought they’d all be brainwased numbskulls parroting their liberal teachers.

I hadn’t thought of that. The natural inclination of teenagers is to rebel. Combine that fact with overload indoctrination and this is what you get. Wish that same reaction was happening on college campuses today.

I am in Los Angeles. Recently I was on a bus and two white high school boys were sitting behind me. I heard one tell the other that half the kids in his class were for Trump.

I have not seen the “My Weekly Reader” poll this year but it used to be a very solid predictor of what the parents were choosing as they spoke with their kids.

Maybe MWR has discontinued because it was “too white” or perhaps it became too gay-friendly to have sitting around the average household or maybe children just don’t read anymore and it has become “My Weekly App”.

FWIW, My kid’s high school had a full out campaign with all 4 parties represented. According to him, they all did a good job of explaining their parties platforms etc...Trump in a landslide. In NJ. He said Obama is still a rock star to the kids but they hate her.

The kids here are wearing Hillary For Prison t-shirts. My boys (11th and 10th grade) know only a handful of peers who support Hillary. I suppose that will change after a year in college. High school teachers are lame and ignored, but college professors are godlike and influential to 18 year olds.

Yeah, but the reason their called “teens” is because they’re not old enough to vote.

/well, not really

My oldest son (9th grade) already has this laid out in his room for wearing to school on November 9th. I'll include another shirt in his book bag because I know he'll be forced to change, but it's good to know he's been raised right. :^)

The Scholastic poll came out in the other direction. Go figure.

Scholastic Presidential Poll 2016: Clinton Crushes Trump

Scholastic's national student poll, which has accurately predicted the winner of every election since 1960, shows Clinton receiving 52 percent of the overall vote. ...

About 153,000 students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade participated.

I love hearing positive news, but I worry that we are consoling ourselves by cherry-picking polls like this that really don’t matter.
