Mika gave a good demonstration today of why people are wrong to call her a Hillary shill.
Yes, Mika is a liberal who will probably wind up voting for Hillary.
But Mika clearly does not have a good opinion of Hillary. Mika blamed Dems for choosing Hillary, asking what they thought they were getting by nominating someone under FBI investigation and with her long history of scandal.

Love Finkelstein’s headline about whistling past the graveyard as that’s exactly what I wrote in a comment to one of the local lib-progs in a response to a letter to the editor yesterday. The local troll wrote that he just knew the Senate would fall into line to quickly approve any Hillary nomination for the Supreme Court after Hillary’s upcoming landslide election. Got no response from him...imagine that...

Maybe that's Mika's strong point - she's able to reach into herself every now and then - find the hard nosed person willing to speak against 'prevailing wisdoms' of the day... She moves beyond 'fashionable and shallow with grace and calls herself on her own projections. Too bad she's a liberal... it'd be great to have her on our side.

I think I knew that previously and forgot when writing my comment. Hope you didn't hurt yourself when patting yourself on the back...:-) Doesn't take away from both of us being right in our usage of the idiom when describing the actions of the typical lib when facing unpleasant realities.
