Quit posting this crap!
All this tells you is that the people who voted early will not be voting on Election Day (hopefully).
It does not tell you who will win.
It does not tell you who is ahead
It does not tell you what the turnout will be.
Quit posting this crap!

All the enthusiasm in the world cannot create 2 votes out of 1.
If someone votes early then cannot vote again on Election Day.
It’s nice that you disagree. What evidence do you have that shows early voting means anything? Anything at all?

Repubs work so show up on election day in MUCH larger numbers than dems.
I’m the ONLY one in my family to vote early absentee.
EVERYONE else is voting on election day, the day that their JOB gives them time to do it.

Seems like just a bunch of pablum to me.
There have many more useless articles posted recently.
At least we know that they are not identifiable by party so if anyone makes claims about MI early voting indicating x or y they are full of s.

Pretty meaningless since if we know ANYTHING from early voting it is that whites are strongly up (3-5%) and blacks are down 3-4%.

Must be a big filing cabinet to hold thousands of ballots. Unreal.

I am a very enthusiastic voter and this is the most anticipated election of my life. However, I totally reject early voting. I plan to vote on the day itself. So at least in my case, early voting is NOT a sign of enthusiasm.
Perhaps a sign of laziness? I don't see what is so hard about voting on the day itself.

Like you, I utterly reject the concept of early voting except in very specific types of cases. I think it is a process that is ripe for abuse and chicanery.
And I don’t see a good excuse for it, except in perhaps some specific instances, such as military votes. etc.
Doing it for people who claim to be inconvenienced in some way on election day is a bunch of BS.
But hey, just my opinion.

Not sure how that makes it meaningless given that what matters is individual states, and in each case that's different.
Did I miss what you were saying makes it meaningless?
