Ralph Peters is a card carrying idiot. Just because you used to be an officer in the military doesn’t mean you are smart. A million enlisted guys can’t be wrong. :-)

Just sent this to Fox News yourcomments@foxnews.com:

Subject: Ralph Peters and your content - from a loyal viewer

Dear Fox News:

Please forward this to Rupert Murdoch once you have finished reading it.

I have been a loyal Fox News viewer since your network started broadcasting about 20 years ago. I had (emphasis on the past tense) been extremely pleased with most of the content. I was most pleased that your network presented all points of view...as any network SHOULD, and as most networks seemingly did many, many years ago.

As you know, virtually every other network has taken an open and unapologetic turn to the Left, politically-speaking. This trend has only accelerated with the passage of time - now they don’t even deny it, they justify it. I rested comfortably knowing that Fox would always be there, always present those facts deemed to be “inconvenient” for the Left, and have both commentators and guests that didn’t put forth a uniform and Leftist view of the world. However, as of the last several years, and this election cycle in particular, I have become incredibly disenchanted with your content. Geraldo Rivera and Juan Williams are simple Leftist syncophants, who are seemingly there only to start a fight. Megyn Kelley’s (A.K.A. “Me Again”) show has just about become a non-stop, Megyn-centered, anti-Trump screed. Many of your daytime anchors make no secret of their own personal agenda - which is decidedly to the left of center. The only shows that I can stomach anymore are Sean Hannity’s and (sometimes) Bill O’Reilly’s (and Bill seems to almost never let anyone finish a complete sentence, which is quite annoying and tiresome - to the point that I’ll just shut the TV). In short, Fox News seems to me to have become MSNBC-lite, with the only actual balance being Hannity and sometimes O’Reilly.

You know, if I wanted to watch something like MSNBC, I’d tune them in rather than Fox.

I fully understand that an opinion show is just that - someone’s opinion. I can watch, or not watch, as I see fit. HOWEVER, I have a very big problem with the dishonesty of multiple people on a network PRETENDING to be objective, yet actually putting forth or advancing their personal agenda. That kind of blatant dishonesty is disgusting, and is not worthy of Fox News. It is most definitely NOT something that I will tolerate. It is the job of the management of a network to make certain that individuals, many very accomplished and with strong opinions, stay in line with a declared moral/ethical code of honesty - and Fox management has failed MISERABLY at enforcing any kind of ethical code like this. Again, these folks can tell us viewers their opinion - but they damned well better say, “Oh, by the way, what follows for the next couple of minutes is not the news, it is MY PERSONAL VIEW of the news.”

The latest example of yet another Fox News personality turning Left is this story about Col. Ralph Peters, who appears as a guest/commentator on several of your shows: http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2016/11/07/ralph_peters_im_voting_for_hillary_clinton.html
Now, I have no problem with any particular person having their own views, and voting for or against any candidate that they wish - or not voting at all, for that matter. Col. Peters has that right as much as anyone else. But this article just highlights and confirms that yet another person who appears on your “fair and balanced” network is not exactly fair and balanced, but is instead just another representative of the Leftist media. Col. Peters frankly acknowledges Hillary Clinton’s dishonesty, but then says that “I am voting for Hillary Clinton because it’s a vote against Donald Trump. I don’t want Moscow’s man in the White House.” You know what, that is incredibly disingenuous, because Hillary Clinton gave approval, as Secretary of State, to a deal that wound up giving a company owned by Russian nationals control of over 20% of our uranium. He also failed to acknowledge that the whole “Donald is in cahoots with the Russians/Vladimir Putin” meme is an invention of the Democratic National Committee and the Hillary Clinton campaign, for the EXPRESS PURPOSE of deflecting opinion from the content of the thousands of emails from the Clinton campaign that Wikileaks has released over the last couple of months. This is NOT an objective man, he has an agenda...yet he presents himself as being otherwise.

I am sick and tired of the increasingly leftward turn of the politics of Fox News - and more so of the dishonesty inherent in you advertising yourselves as “fair and balanced.” I tuned in 20 years ago because Fox was a breath of fresh air, a network that actually presented the news - and when its anchors and commentators were telling us their opinion, THEY WERE HONEST ABOUT IT AND LET US KNOW THAT IT WAS OPINION. As a result, when this election is over and the analysis of it is finished this coming weekend, I will no longer watch Fox News - except for the Sean Hannity show and, occasionally, Bill O’Reilly’s show. Until and unless you in management change the focus and the personnel of your network, and return to the original “fair and balanced” format and reality that characterized it, and which made it a great success, you will have lost a long-time, loyal viewer (and his family). I will be happy to let your advertisers know that I am no longer watching your network.

If you believe me to be mistaken, or if you have plans to return to your roots and not just keep being MSNBC-lite, then please let me know. Because that’s the only way (that is, if I’m actually mistaken, or if you actually return to your roots) that I’m going to continue to watch your network.

Sincerely yours,

Did you tell you son about Hillary’s sale of our uranium to Russia or Podesta’s shares in a Putin linked company?

Until proven otherwise, I will now consider Ralph Peters an agent for James Carville or Clinton herself.

I saw that a-hole on Fox yesterday and wanted to reach in and throttle him. Insufferable.

I feel the same way. Apparently he was just waiting for this opportunity to reveal his true colors. He used his audience to push his novels, must have had a secret agenda all along.
