Donald Trump files Nevada voting lawsuit
Fox 6 ^ | Nov. 8, 2016

WASHINGTON — In a sign that the legal team for the Trump campaign is aggressively laying the groundwork for potential legal challenges — big and small — lawyers have gone to state court in Nevada in an early vote dispute.

They are suing Joe P. Gloria, the Clark County registrar of voters, over a decision they allege he made to keep polling locations open “two hours beyond the designated closing time.” The lawsuit targets polling places in the greater Las Vegas area that have larger minority voting precincts.

Dan Kulin, a spokesperson for the county, told CNN that no early voting stations extended their closing times. They did, however, process voters who were in line at closing time to allow as many people to vote as possible.

In legal briefs filed Monday night, Trump lawyers are asking for an order to have the pertinent early vote ballots not to be “co-mingled or interspersed” with other ballots.

“From the polling, it appears that Nevada is so close that the Trump campaign thinks it’s worth challenging any violation in voting protocol. The numbers that came in could represent several thousand people across the four precincts, which could determine who wins the electoral college vote or change the Senate race,” said Robert Lang of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He said the Trump campaign is “smart to put a marker down for a future challenge, considering what happened in 2000 in Florida.”

Officials with the Republican National Committee and Trump’s campaign declined to further discuss their action with reporters on a conference call early Tuesday afternoon.

Nevada’s Republican Party chairman, Michael McDonald, told a Trump audience in Reno on Saturday that polling locations were kept open late so that a “certain group” could vote.

“Last night, in Clark County, they kept a poll open ’til 10 o’clock at night so a certain group could vote,” McDonald said in introductory remarks at a Trump rally. “The polls are supposed to close at 7. This was kept open until 10. Yeah, you feel free right now? You think this is a free and easy election? That’s why it’s important.”

Clark County, which includes the suburbs of Las Vegas, has a large Hispanic population and could figure prominently in who wins the White House.

At Saturday’s rally, Trump suggested that the polling location’s extended closing time to allow voters to cast their ballots was a sign of a “rigged system” pitted against his campaign.

“It’s being reported that certain key Democratic polling locations in Clark County were kept open for hours and hours beyond closing time to bus and bring democratic voters in. Folks, it’s a rigged system. It’s a rigged system and we’re going to beat it. We’re going to beat it,” Trump said.

Hell, Trump's not coming IN without a fight.

This is what makes Trump so great. Even when he wins the election, he's not going to let anybody get away with voter fraud. Any other Republican overcoming fraud to win would let it go and just take the win.

There was a thread here earlier that reported a power outage in a polling place in a very R district. No word (that I’ve seen) about how long it lasted, or if ballots were lost, or if the polling place will get to stay open later because of the lost time.

It’s all over twitter about ‘calibration errors’ - voting machines turning Trump votes to Hillary in a some counties. (Lebanon County, Butler City)——SOROS MACHINES??

Some of you may recall the case in which Bridgeport CT received court approval to keep certain polling places open past the statutory closing time, then used the city’s government-owned reverse-911 system to notify households in the affected districts of the later closing time.

They chose the most heavily Democrat districts in which to run this little scheme.

Trump is a fighter.

Who of all the other GOP Candidates would fight like this? They all would have either rolled over and played dead like Romney did 4 years or would have been totally inept in their ability to FIGHT BACK.

If that's the case then I believe the law requires that. But if the polling place was supposed to be closed at a specific time and they were allowing people to arrive after that and still vote then that's illegal.

One of the top reasons I voted for him. I’m sick to death of the GOPe candidates that allow the evil Democrats to run over them like a steamroller. And not so much as a peep about all the dirty liberal tricks.

I want a fighter. Someone who will fight for what’s right, and drain the swamp.

I saw on today's noon news KDKA that a small district in Butler County, (north of Pittsburgh) are switching straight Republican to Straight Democrat. Not to worry though, machines are being "re-calibrated!"(S)

Which certain group was that?

When did that certain group get in lone to vote?

Yep. Happened in AR too. Vic Snyder robocalled the entire state and said that "Democrats are fighting for your right to vote and that the Republicans don't want you to vote after 7:30 (note: AR state law says that only those in line at 7:30 CST get to vote).

Anyways, I was a poll watcher and called into the Republican office. They said. Contest every vote after 730PM. It only happened in the heavy D areas (Heights, Hillcrest, Downtown Little Rock, etc).

Law suits were filed, and the post 1930hr votes were sequestered. Judge threw out contested ballots, which just so happened, had enough votes to throw a couple of State Rep seats and JPs here in Pulaski Co.

DEM Dirty TRICKS!
