Obama will not only pardon Hillary, he will also pardon Cheryl Mills, Huma Abedin, and others connected with Hillary's criminal handling of classified material ... and with the criminal enterprise called the Clinton Foundation.
He will hate doing it, because it will forever stain his "legacy." (Yes, his legacy is irredeemably stained already, what with the Iran deal ... the weakening of our military ... the destruction of our health care system, etc - but his pardon of Hillary will be one of the most personally embarrassing issues for him.)
But he will do it - he has no choice, as he is personally involved in wrongdoing connected to the Hillary scandals. For himself, and for now, Obama has sovereign immunity; but I think it is questionable whether that survives his presidency.
So anything Obama can do to short-circuit or even thwart the investigations, he will do.
This is a very delicate dance that will happen. He doesn’t want to pardon her if she won’t be charged.
If I was Trump I would put out rumors or possibly openly say that I wasn’t going to assign a special prosecutor. I would say that I would let bygones be bygones. Then once I got into office I would say, “New alarming information has been provided to me and I won’t be able to just ignore it. I will assign a special prosecutor to determine the validity of the information....”
If Skippy does, President Trump can focus on him and his pitiful excuse of a legacy. And he should warm him upfront.

If he pardons her it needs to be the case that he merely thereby substitutes persecution for prosecution. The Clintons must be imprisoned or echased out of the country. I am sure there are many places they can go live that appreciate their great services to those countries (snicker).
He’ll have to pardon Bill and Chelsea, too, for the Clinton Foundation selling favors.
Well Gerald Ford gave Nixon a blanket pardon when he resigned prior to his likely impeachment. So there is precedence.
Wouldn’t that be something, Obama stalls until 20 Jan. then sneaks out of the white house like a thief in the night, leaving Hillary and her clan hanging in the wind.
Just a couple days ago she had her lawyers send Trump the Magnificent a cease-and-desist letter, demanding they stop saying she was still under investigation by the FIbbies.
So which is it?
I’m leaning towards making her humiliation complete by Obama pardoning her for the many things she didn’t do and isn’t under investigation for. Doing.

Because of the various legal scenarios, that is no doubt why Hillary has 1.8 billion sitting in a bank in Qatar...she can always hop a plane and spend the rest of her life in Qatar.

If you’re talking about Ford and Nixon, I’ve read that it’s legally and Constitutionally suspect. And we all know it wasn’t tested in court.
That’s basically the wording in Fords Nixon Pardon. The Presidency is a very powerful position. The President has Pardon power for Federal Crimes. The power is very broad.
However, he cannot Pardon state Crimes. The Clinton family Crime Foundation is a New York alleged “not for profit” corporation. But, the New York Attorney General is a tail wagging liberal lackey.
Obama would be doing Trump a big favor to pardon Hillary.
If Obama doesn’t pardon Hillary Trump will be criticized from the left as vindictive if he pursues an investigation of her and from the right for breaking his word if he doesn’t.
If she is pardoned Trump will be free of any responsibility to investigate her and he can concentrate on his agenda.
A Hillary pardon would not mean that Trump couldn’t pursue wrongdoing on the part of others, especially in relation to the Clinton Foundation.
Yes, that's true. Even though Clinton claimed that Comey exonerated her of wrong doing in July, Comey's words became part of Trump's stump speech and were used liberally in ads. It did serious damage to her campaign because it played into Trump's assertions that she was crooked and that the system was rigged.
