Do you remember the story I told you?
I saw a very frail old gentleman get out of his pick up, with great effort.
As I walked over to ask if I could help him, I noticed his bumper sticker.
It said “Not as lean, not as mean, but STILL a MARINE!”

Happy Birthday, Marines!

The U.S. military, every division, (if that’s the right word probably not, I don’t come from a military family) is the best in the world!

Oh, wait! Is it branch?

In any case thank you so much for your service, bravery, your honor and dedication.

we would not be a country without you.

Without all the divisions, branches. ;)

Thank you for your service, and God bless.

Julie

Howdy, Kathy.

Did you get any sleep last night or did the mountain of homework keep you up?

You all must be happy to have a Commander-in-Chief who won’t ask you to fetch coffee and who respects you and your service to the nation. Take care and be safe.

Hiya radu!

You'all celebrating in Tennessee as much as the rest of us?

I went to bed fairly early last night fearing the worst and woke-up, saw the great news and rejoiced.

WHAT an election season, GLAD it's over and we won!

Of course, up here in liberal Washington state we had our share of dumb-ass initiatives and such pass by the mindless liberal morons on the other side of the state.

Oh well.

How wuz your day?

Oooooh, you know we’re celebrating here. And enjoying all the hang-dog faces of dems around town. LOL

You missed all the fun going to bed early. And missed the opportunity for a GOOD night’s sleep. I slept better today than I have in weeks.

It was a typical Wed. - - - grocery shopping day to load up on cat food. A cool day but it’s going to be a cold night. Frost advisories are out. BRRRRR!

Howdy, radu! I did...and we are! It was nice and cloudy today, but never rained, though I wish it had!

I don’t think we’ll see the 80s again till next spring. One can hope. LOL!

I’m going to OKC next week...it’ll probably be cooler up there. At any rate, I’ll take my sweats to sleep in, because my son keeps the house too darn cold. LOL!

Rain would have been nice with those clouds but at least you could get out and about without breaking into a sweat.

It was sunny here but cool. Looking at 60s and even upper 50s for highs the next week ...... and still no rain in the forecast. There are several wildfires across the state and we could see the smoke from one way off in the distance yesterday when we went to vote.

Ain’t it grand to be FREE to go off on road trips whenever you want now? Hope you have a great time in OKC next week!

It’s GREAT to be free! I hope you get some rain soon. I totally understand how frustrating and depressing it is, having gone through that a couple of years ago.

How long are you planning to be up there?

Yes, it would be great to get some rain here but we have no idea when we’ll get some. There was a little rain north and west of us yesterday when the front came through but it didn’t get to our neck o’ the woods.
