He lucked out in 2014 when the Rats put up what was the worst candidate who ever ran for public office in Ohio. Ed Fitzgerald was a philandering liar who cheated on the government and his wife and got exposed a month before the election. If David Pepper had been his opponent, the Democrats would control the Governorship. I don’t know which is worse.
