President-elect Donald Trump’s transition team is seriously discussing the possibility of giving former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin a cabinet position, Politico reported Wednesday.
The Trump campaign is floating the idea of tapping the former Alaskan governor as Trump’s interior secretary. Palin has made no secret about her interest in holding a position in a Trump administration.

If you saw the interview she did with Jake Tapper early last year when she met with Trump before he announced, Jake asked her about what she would like to do. She immediately said Energy but also quantified that in would be the shortest post in history because she would close it down almost immediately.
My take even then was to Take Interior and in such start to migrate virtually everything into it and then cull the forest of dead wood. That would include Energy, EPA, Transportation, TSA, DHS and so forth. Security goes back to the CIA and FBI where it belongs.
Is this true? I never heard this before. I can't imagine that Sarah Palin would trade her life for the swamp that is DC. If she did, I have no doubt she would bring a wrecking ball.

Secretary of the Interior — I’ll go for that. She kicked ass in Alaska as Chairman of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission. As Governor, too, she dealt with these kinds of issues all the time.
Besides, I want to see another lib meltdown when she gets a high position in D.C. By that time the snowflakes will have calmed down a bit over the election, and I want to see more crying and screaming. It’s SO much FUN!

That’s exactly what people said about Trump. It’s shallow and doesn’t consider someone’s skills and talents. Besides, the Secretary of the Interior doesn’t get a lot of face time in the media. Is someone going to tie you down and force you to listen to her if she’s speaking once or twice a year?

That person does not exist if they are selected by Trump. Sarah did an incredible job organizing and cutting the fat in Alaska and has an awesome background related to energy. Great candidate for Cabinet post in this area IMO.
