This was posted before and I spent about two hours checking this guy’s videos out. It’s satire, but he’s brilliant. How many people have you seen who can go off on a rant like this and spew out facts and statistics 90mph the way this guy does? And it sounds like it’s all right off the top of his head, he can’t be reading all this off a teleprompter, and I’ve never seen one in any of his videos.
I don’t care what his politics are, most of what he said in this particular rant is verifiable fact, and he nailed just why Trump won. especially pay attention to what he says starting around 3:50. That’s when he gets into the biggest problem with Democrats, refusing to engage in any intelligent and meaningful discussion, opting instead to shut the conversation down by way of insults, name calling and ridicule. Exactly what I’ve been trying to get across to a small group of liberals on a musician forum where they do exactly that.
Nope, they won’t listen, they don’t want to hear ‘YOU’RE WRONG”...not even if you back it up with facts, in an intelligent manner without any of the name calling they depend on. We’re supposed to shut up and let them speak. Just like one particular moron I see on Fox who always demands conservatives shut up and let him finish, but he never stops interrupting them, never lets them finish a sentence. Wish I could remember his name but I can’t, he’s that memorable...black guy with glasses.
I’ve seen several others too, and that’s the one thing I can grudgingly say about Juan Williams, he does occasionally shut the hell up and let someone else finish a comment. Still a total idiot, but at least he will occasionally let you finish a comment...
The profanity doesn’t bother me, I lived with sailors for a couple of years. I can live without it, but it doesn’t make me shut him off or ignore his opinion. Funny guy. What puzzles me is that he seems to be coming from the left, which I suppose could be an act, and still sees the problems in politics clear as a bell. And all this seems to be unscripted...brilliant...
The primary problem with his assertion is that the left doesn’t have any logical positions they can defend with reason. The more “discussion” liberals have the less liberals there are.

The left is arrogant. They believe they know what’s best for you, and they are never wrong. They never think for a minute they could be wrong. So there is no arguing with them. They really thought, they really believed they could run Clinton, with all of her baggage in tow, and it wouldn’t matter to voters, because the left truly believes they’re never wrong. Let everyone else eat cake because they’re stupid, racist and deplorable to dare to question, and rightly so, left wing wisdom. Arrogant fools.

Bingo. I have had lefty friends with whom I could enjoy a pleasant evening of food, drink and peaceful, if heated debate. That’s gone now. That’s one of his points. We don’t talk anymore.
I have met some that are good friends. Fewer still that will come over, but it happens. One in particular would be offended if I called him a conservative. The fog is clearing for him though, I see it clearly in what he writes online.
Agree completely. My politics and his are 180 degrees out of sync, but I could have a drink with this guy and argue the night away and we’d be happy for the next opportunity to do the same thing again.
Used to have a good friend like that. Miss him.
