Trump lost the popular vote. That doesn’t mean he would have lost a popular-vote election.

I think he was stating an emotional preference. He stated he wasn’t going to change his mind about having won; he won with the rules in place so he is on legal ground. Everyone wants to be loved, even stodgy old Trump, but he won the majority of electors, so he’ll just have to work harder to win detracting popular voters over!

Out of curiosity is there a county map for California?

This article really doesn’t take into account behavior of voters in an opposition stronghold state.

How many Republicans in California stayed home because they already knew that their vote wouldn’t have changed a thing at the national, state, or local level?

There was no “popular vote”. There were votes for slates of electors— usually “take all”.

Campaigns do not try to win the popular vote — that can be a losing proposition (Clinton, Gore and others).

We are NOT a Democracy. We are a Federal Republic.

>>> How many votes were flipped from Trump?

I don’t think there is any way to verify that.

We would have to analyze the code of every single electronic voting machine, and know approximately how many republicans voted on those machines.

In both cases, that is a task that is literally impossible... by design.

We can however verify registered voters.... and how many of those are dead or are fraudulent.

Will that happen? doubt it.

He didn’t lose the popular vote, all the votes haven’t been counted....I’d love to see the AG’s of the states he won demand that ballot counting be RESUMED to assure his popular vote win.

Maybe they only voted the down-ballot, and didn’t vote for illary or P-E Trump.

P-E president-elect

Much of the lead that Clinton has is based on fraud, maybe as many as 3 MILLION +.

Based on comments this week....roughly 3 million dead people are still listed as active voters on the 50-state rolls. Some calculate that as many as six-million illegals also voted in this election. At the very least, probably four million folks (minimum) were non-valid voters for Hillary.”””

Like many voters, I am convinced that illegals & others voted in this election. It can be assumed rather accurately that the illegals who voted did vote for Shrillary after Trump made it clear he was going to clean out the chicken house & deport the illegals.

However-—Let’s look at the ENTIRE voting results:

How many absentee votes have not yet been counted & applied to either one of the candidates???

As I understand it, absentee votes are not processed & the results given to either candidate unless the vote is so close that they must be open & used. IF I am wrong & the absentee votes ARE included in these totals, I stand corrected. I need clarification.

However—if the ending results are only about 200,000 votes apart, then the MILLIONS of illegals who voted can probably be comfortably assumed to have been added to Shrillary’s total.

SO—TAKE away the DEAD voters—the Illegal voters—and the ballots being cast in secret rooms such as Florida, and I contend that Trump won by over 5 million votes......

The counties vote far left on the far left of the map, and tend to vote to the right on the right.

ADD A MILLION OR SO FOR TRUMP AND 1/3 MILION FOR H..

SO IN FACT .... TRUMP WON THE POPULAR VOTE ALSO...

Clinton won California by 2.6 million but the country by 600,000. This means that Trump won the entire country, other than California, by 2 million votes. This is not something that our so-called news media will want known.

That’s not the point. The point is that the electoral college serves the purpose to level the playing field between between heavily populated states and sparser populated states.

That’s the beauty of the electoral college. The rest of the country doesn’t care if Cali goes Democrat by 51% or 99%. They’ll get the same electoral college vote.

Rush has a great baseball analogy using a baseball world’s series where the Pirates beat the Yankees 4 out of 7 games, but the Yankees outscored them about 50 to 30.

The Yankees could not plead they were the “real” winners.

According to the liberal logic:

The next time my football team loses, as long as my team totaled more YARDS than the other team, I will claim that my team actually won. Yeah, that will definitely make me feel better.

I agree...and I think Trump also knows that. But it is a harder row to hoe as a president for ‘all the people’ when at least a large plurality of voters voted against him...especially voters who have a confused sense of what our representative republic is versus what a horrible direct democracy is. You also know as well as I and I suspect Trump does, too that he had to over come massive fraud and undercountings of votes. I think he really did win the popular vote....but unless investigations are done of suspect voting precints, how would we ever know?
