I was still curious so I put my Googlefu to work and found this article at Constitution Daily: Constitution Daily

It did not go into any statistical analysis but stated "It [the US Senate] would be probably be much more controlled by the Republicans, with a good chance that it could be a filibuster-proof majority and a chance it could be veto-proof."

Which is about what I expected given the sea of red splashed across America and is indicative of why the progressives of that day pushed for it so hard.

A quick rule of thumb is this. We are the majority in 38 state Legislatures. That represents 76% of 50.

I believe there is a very good chance the conclusion of the article you read, and yours, have a great likelihood of being right.

I was tired yesterday and should have leaned in this direction then.

Addendum: I quoted that 38 state Legislature figure from memory. I was off by one. It was 37% of 50, and a still respectable 74% of 50.

Good work! In reviewing this, I do find it inexcusable for Ohio not to bring up and pass Right to Work. Heavy majority Republican and sitting Republican Governor. Kasich, ya, I know. But still, I would think he would sign after legislature presents him with a bill.
