In ’05 GWB had just been reelected; the Dems retook control of both houses of Congress in the midterm election of ’06. They retained control of the House until after the election of ’10 - and retained control of the Senate until after the election of ’14.

The Republicans need to gain seats in the Senate in ’18, because the Democrats have to defend 25 incumbents - half of their entire delegation - that year. Ten of which will be from states won by Trump. The Republicans would need to double their showing in

Pelosi has not been able to be a leader for anything other than multiple surgeries to pull her aged skin together.

When the Medical Examiner finally gets her, they will find stitch marks everywhere.
