The Dems have won the popular vote in six out of the last 7 Presidential elections.

That's because California allows illegals to vote. Throw the California votes out, even the Republican votes, and you'll get much closer to parity. Trump has absolutely got to address this. Sanctuary cities need to be bankrupted. Illegals have to be removed from voter roles.

Also, whites are still going to be the single largest voting group for decades to come. Smaller but NOT a minority. When and if they dip below 50%, they'll still be a larger block than blacks or Hispanics, Asians, etc. In this past election, Trump won the white vote and did better with Blacks and Latinos then Romney did.

Agree with you on all the rest.

True immigration reform cannot come fast enough. It is a big reason for my Trump vote.

That's because California allows illegals to vote.

No they don't as a matter of law or policy. It would be a violation of federal law and the Constitution.

I have no doubt that Hillary would have run up a huge cushion among only legal voters in CA. The demographics of CA today will be those of the US in 2050.

According to 2015 US Census Bureau estimates, California's population was 72.9% White, 6.5% Black or African American, 14.7% Asian, 1.7% American Indian, 0.5% Pacific Islander and 3.8% from two or more races. By ethnicity, 38.8% of the total population is Hispanic-Latino (of any race) and 61.4% Non-Hispanic (of any race). Hispanics are the largest ethnic group in California.

As of 2015, California has the largest minority population in the United States. Non-Hispanic whites decreased from about 76.3 - 78% of the state's population in 1970 to 38.0% in 2015. While the population of minorities accounts for 100.7 million of 300 million U.S. residents, 20% of the national total live in California.

Throw the California votes out, even the Republican votes, and you'll get much closer to parity.

The problem is that you can't confine the Hispanic vote to CA. NV and CO are probably lost in any future election. AZ is being lost as well. Immigration is affecting electoral politics nationwide.

Also, whites are still going to be the single largest voting group for decades to come. Smaller but NOT a minority. When and if they dip below 50%, they'll still be a larger block than blacks or Hispanics, Asians, etc.

The non-Hispanic white population is projected to peak in 2024, at 199.6 million, up from 197.8 million in 2012. Unlike other race or ethnic groups, however, its population is projected to slowly decrease, falling by nearly 20.6 million from 2024 to 2060.

Meanwhile, the Hispanic population would more than double, from 53.3 million in 2012 to 128.8 million in 2060. Consequently, by the end of the period, nearly one in three U.S. residents would be Hispanic, up from about one in six today.

The black population is expected to increase from 41.2 million to 61.8 million over the same period. Its share of the total population would rise slightly, from 13.1 percent in 2012 to 14.7 percent in 2060.

The Asian population is projected to more than double, from 15.9 million in 2012 to 34.4 million in 2060, with its share of nation's total population climbing from 5.1 percent to 8.2 percent in the same period.

The U.S. is projected to become a majority-minority nation for the first time in 2043. While the non-Hispanic white population will remain the largest single group, no group will make up a majority.

All in all, minorities, now 37 percent of the U.S. population, are projected to comprise 57 percent of the population in 2060. (Minorities consist of all but the single-race, non-Hispanic white population.) The total minority population would more than double, from 116.2 million to 241.3 million over the period.

In this past election, Trump won the white vote and did better with Blacks and Latinos then Romney did.

The Reps have been winning the white vote for decades. The problem is that the white vote is getting smaller requiring a larger percentage of whites to win elections. Romney received 59% of the white vote. Trump won 57%.

Trump won 8% of the black vote, 28% of the Latino vote, and 27% of the Asian vote. Romney received 6% of the black vote, 27% of the Latino vote, and 26% of the Asian vote. Given the rapidly changing demography of this country, these are not winning numbers in the long term.

You can check out the 2016 exit polls here.

True immigration reform cannot come fast enough. It is a big reason for my Trump vote.?

We have Sessions and Kobach. You couldn't pick two better people when it comes to immigration. It is why I selected Trump from almost the day he announced his candidacy.

I and others have been saying Soros is behind this but even on here I’m getting messages for me to shut up .The key to stopping this is that Soros is funding this with foreign money . The media is saying this is a grass roots campaign which is a lie

That speech was written by her lawyers to give her wiggle room to challenge the vote later. They have been actively researching those results for 3 weeks so why do you think?

No they don't as a matter of law or policy. It would be a violation of federal law and the Constitution.

California passed "Motor Voter" laws back in the 1990s. What this law did was automatically register the licensee to vote when they got or renewed a California driver's license.

Two years ago, they passed a new law--or just authorized, not 1005 sure, but, Governor Brown allowed illegal aliens to get California drivers, and accept Mexican DL to get new Californian ones without a retest--and, more importantly, no legal sanctions for doing so, thus making California a Sanctuary State. Motor voter registered all these illegals to vote. There's no real mechanism to stop them from voting. Say your name is Hectorio Hernandez and you are an illegal from La Paz, Baja California. Make it to USA California and then trade your Mexican license for a Californian license. Now, come Election day, you go to the polling place, show your California license, they look you up on the roster, you're registered, they then hand a ballot. The cannot ask you your legal status, or, at least in California, won't. Easy peasy.

There is no legal standing for or against a concession speech.

Gore conceeded in 2000 and Kerry in 2004. Both then called for recounts. This means nothing.

I don’t disagree, and I would never tell you to shut up.

However, I don’t think Soros is as smart as he thinks he is. He misread the US electorate, and Trump won what Soros, the media and all the democrats thought was the Hillary Express, but that was derailed by the Trump Train.

Now he wants to follow up that colossal waste of money with more? Fine! Let him. These efforts are not going to stop President Trump, and will probably piss him off enough to cause Trump to go after him. In fact, these efforts of Soros will probably give Jeff Sessions more evidence to convict him.

In the end, as Lenin once said of capitalists, Soros will sell Trump the rope Trump will hang him with.

This means nothing.

Correct, at least not legally. However, in the court of public opinion, it's a death sentence.

absolutely correct sir, media and congress will be Trump biggest challenges. I don't worry. He's up to the task and has all the right people behind/aside him.

If nothing else we can see who is who. Will you ever trust Peggy Noonan again?I know I won't. Anyone else who supposedly is on our side that buys into this double standard crap is not trustworthy as well.

Raddish and F.Chuck were worth seeing just to see what track they will be taking for the next eight years. They are all out to destroy Trump.Ironically, their numbers pale from what Trump has just on his twitter account! We will have a potus who will have the media chasing him! Begging him for a few minutes! Rather than the other way around.

Trump is a genius.

Obama won’t get involved.

He's involved in anything like this. All he cares about is his legacy. He will just keep a low profile.

Motor voter registered all these illegals to vote.

Not legally. You must check a box confirming you are a US citizen in order to register legally.

When people go to the DMV to obtain or renew a driver's license, or to get a state identification card, they’ll be asked for the usual information in such transactions, such as their name, date of birth and address. They’ll also be asked to affirm their eligibility to vote and will be given the choice of opting out of registering at that time. Information about anyone who does not decline registration will be electronically transmitted from the DMV to the secretary of state’s office, where citizenship will be verified and names will be added to the voter rolls.

A total of 12 states plus the District of Columbia allow undocumented immigrants to obtain a driver's license. These 12 states include California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, Vermont and Washington. Notice that all of them went Dem.

I am just as concerned about the 15 million or so green card holders (Legal Permanent Residents) who have SSNs, drivers licenses, etc. The only thing they can't do is vote legally. However, we know that many of them are by claiming to be citizens on the registration forms. With a few exception, none of the states require proof of citizenship when registering to vote.
