If you thought a devastating loss to Republican Donald Trump four weeks ago and to rival Barack Obama in 2008 was finally going to put former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton out of the political game for good, think again.
According to veteran reporter Ron Fournier, someone who has been closely covering the Clintons for years, Hillary Clinton is keeping her options open for yet another presidential run in 2020.
Third times-a-charm? Not so much.
Clinton's biggest problem going into Election Day was a lack of enthusiasm and by the time results started rolling in, it showed. Her so-called "blue-firewall" of Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania was bulldozed by Trump, who took all of them in addition to Ohio. The Obama coalition failed to show up to vote for her and if she chooses to run again in 2020, they'll stay home again. Not to mention Clinton barely made it out of the 2016 democrat primary against Bernie Sanders, whose supporters stayed home or supported third party candidates.
Clinton's strategy was to run against Trump, not on her own policies or platforms. That failed. She is a representation of the past, not just for Democrats but for the entire country. The scandal plagued cloud that has followed her since her early days on the Watergate investigation never dissipated and in fact has only gotten darker as she's gained more power. The majority doesn't want that kind of corruption around anymore.
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. A third Clinton run would be insanity.

Yes, why isn’t Clinton in Jail? Trump has no excuse to not pursue this woman’s treason.
The only excuse I can find is that Trump is taking the pussy way and excusing her because he has known her for a long time and Ivanka is a friend of Chelsea.
That brings up another question. Why isn’t Chelsea in jail? Oh, yes, I almost forgot, she has a couple of kids. Dear, dear.
What makes any of us think it will be the real Hil-liar-y running for office. Many people are quite smitten with her dopplegangers and don’t see any difference.
For all we really know, HRC may actually be dead as we speak. Bill may be grieving as is Chelsea as they haven’t been seen either. Huma has not been seen for weeks and how do we know her sister hasn’t been doppleganging her?
I don’t believe we are anywhere out of the woods with those devils.

BTW the Dems have very few plausible candidates for 2020, so she might be their best shot.
He probably wants her to be in play so that he can win re-election, with a more sickly, older, Hillary as the nominee. If you can rig the system, leave the useful idiots in play.

You don’t beat them, you have to DESTROY them. These people can be destroyed easily if we have a real FBI and Atty Gen. otherwise, they’ll be back like a plague of locusts with shrilly and cackles.
The Clintons are great at sucking all the oxygen out of any room they’re in. It’s OK with me if she enters the primaries in 2020.

I think it unlikely she will live another four years. And if she does, I do not think that even the current democrat party, as out of touch as it is, is stupid enough to let her get the nomination in 2020.
I think her chance of being president is past.

I knew I should have checked! I knew it. Seems like only yesterday that she was a gangly little girl with teeth like an angry marmot. Now, marmot’s all grown.
I hope she runs again. The only thing making me happier than see her losing once?.........is losing twice. I owe her a huge debt of gratitude. It’s been a great fall season.
Chelsea Clinton is a non-entity. She’s a cardboard cutout. A mannequin. A dummy.
An electro-encephalograph hooked to her brain would get a null reading.

And then there’s that name - Clinton. Americans have put up with her parents for over thirty years, and they’re sick to death of them. They’re not going to give Chelsea a second look if she tries running for any office.
Maybe she will run for the Green party?
