Erdogan IS a terrorist. He must stop Assad to keep his ISIS vassal going and ensure the hundreds of millions in oil revenues his son is reaping continues. Turkey is now an enemy, not an ally.

Dagon father of Baal.

Maybe it isn’t clear to a lot of people on this site that the EU & NATO are provoking a war with Russia? The INTERNATIONAL western globalist establishment may have moved up the timetable for the war with Russia because of Trump’s election as US President.....

Quoting from Infowars: “Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has just announced that the only reason Turkish military forces have entered northern Syria is to “end the rule of the tyrant al-Assad”.

By publicly proclaiming that Turkey intends to use military force to overthrow the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, Erdogan has essentially declared war on the Syrian government.”

Black Sea Fleet:

Slava class cruiser (1)
Kashin class destroyer (1)
Admiral Grigorovich class frigate (2)
Burevestnik (Krivak) class frigate (2)
Kilo class submarine (6)
Various smaller vessels. Limited air power via Syria.

Other vessels can be brought to bear, but that seriously weakens Russia in other areas. Russia’s only carrier is of “suspect” effectiveness at best.

Italian Navy:

Aircraft carriers (2) (Newest commissioned 2008.)
Destroyers (4)
Frigates (14)
Corvettes (4)
Attack submarines (7)
A host of smaller & assorted other vessels. (184 vessels total, although quite a few are small auxiliary vessels.)

Plus (presently) most of the 219 combat aircraft from Italy’s Air Force could be brought to bear if need be (note the pun), mostly flying from local bases, including a few Italian produced F-35’s. (The 219 is planned to decline in number as more F-35’s are produced.) The Italians are darn competent, would be operating from local bases, have considerable carrier operational experience, and should not be underestimated.

Now, if Russia pits even 1/4 of its total navy vs. the Italians alone, they wipe out the Italians. But, Russia CAN’T do that, and the Italians would not be alone.

Yes and you left out are several thousand Onyx Yakont (P-800) Super Sunburn supersonic anti ship missiles which can be launched by air, sea and ground platforms. NATO has a real problem with these. The entire Italian Navy could be destroyed in 20 minutes with a mass attack. With that weapon and others which are classified they control that entire region against all naval threats. Your internet and text book research will never outflank me because there are things you just don’t know. We have lots of reinvestment to do in our military along with NATO. The Russians have the edge right now. Deal with it!

Does the thought of a conventional war -— that could lead to tactical nukes & ultimately a full-on thermonuclear interchange involving the United States give anyone pause....?

This could be the beginning of the REAL THING

Trump needs to pick his Secretary of State VERY CAREFULLY......(nobody for war & no ties to the western military industrial complex)

We shouldn’t be in alliances anyway, that’s what started WWI, the stupidest war in history which led to WWII.. ............... and WW III and WW IV and so on. If WW I was avoided, there would not have been a WW II. However the Communist movement was ready to go regardless, and eventually WW I would have been turned into separate revolutions and eventually the main event. Western Civilization was doomed in the early years of the 20th Century.

You just violated the cardinal rule of FR: “Thou shalt never quote from Alex Jones.” You will now be mercilessly ridiculed and scorned.

So Turkey has started this war for that Natural gas pipeline.

It’s all about economics folks and nothing further....

Anyhow, the Russians have 1 or 2 Bases there.

If Turkey engages Russian forces, then prepare for WWIII since Turkey is considered a NATO Allie.

In all honesty, since Turkey started this, then I say they are on their own.

Why...? Alex Jones & Infowars were key players in the defeat of the RINO GOPe candidates, plus the defeat of the DNCe candidate, Hillary Clinton....Alex Jones, Matt Drudge, Shawn Hannity, Julian Assange, Michael Savage and a handful of others give us a President-elect that is truly outside of control of the international globalist conspirators....

....therefore, they seem to be trying to get Romney into position....

Yep. Cameron in the UK is all in. Siding with Islamists like Erdagon, against a reliable dictator like Assad. Frack them. Trump should reneg on NATO and tell Cameron if he wants to risk nuclear war with Russia he can go ahead without our help.

Stupid mother f&*(*&..

Awesome. It's like a re-run of the Crimean War - just need France to join in. I hope this time the French, English and Turks get their asses handed to them.
