I was in Paris about a year and a half ago, and in Nice on that trip, several times previously, and about 6 months ago.
In Paris, we stayed at a hotel within 500m of the Eiffel Tower. We generally had a great time, though we did have an episode where, while taking a double decker tour bus around the city, we were substantially delayed by some bogus African Muslims doing a street protest over this, that, or the other. The security force presence was substantial.
In Nice, these has been an increasing Muslim presence over the last 5-6 years since we’ve been visiting, but it’s generally been a non-issue. Then, a month after we were there this year, there was the truck attack with great loss of life. We had probably crossed the section of the Promenade de Anglais where the attack occurred a dozen or so times on that trip. And we spent a fair amount of time on the Med next to the Promenade about a kilometer west of where the attack started (attack proceeded west to east). Unnerving, at best.
The point being that while it’s not a Blade Runnerish dystopian future with Islamics, and there are still great restaurants and such, there are serious events happening and worse storm clouds for the future if something doesn’t change, and start changing soon.
Exactly hill/bama planned the destruction of libya over a two year period so they could loot and plunder every asset in the country starting with qdaffi gold,money and weapons.
It seems a matter of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. The wrong place and the wrong time are growing. Your chance of being victimized are increasing. You take your chances. What is your risk tolerance?

Yes, it’s chilling. It’s been that way for a couple of years now, as soon as they clean out one area, they congregate elsewhere. And as time passes, they get more and more strident and demanding. As one might expect. They have been promised nirvana by the people-smugglers who are getting rich, and have been welcomed with open arms by the silly Europeans who believed their governments who told them it was populate-or-perish time.

The Europeans are waking up now that it’s too late, they have been lied to and persuaded to give away their national pride by a suicidal cabal at the UN, only interested in keeping their almost a million ‘employees’ happy and well fed, and the Bolshevik traditions alive on the planet.
Conservatives all over the world will need to get their pride back and fight back. Fight to keep what it took them centuries to achieve.
Many will lose their lives. Some will lose their countries totally. But that’s what happens if you allow yourself to be convinced by Marx’s little helpers to trash your culture and treasures.
It’s going to be a long long way back. It took Spain 800 years.

I first came across chaga whilst reading Cancer Ward by Solzhenitsyn in the 70’s, the book was semi-auto-biographical, he wrote about chaga being a folk medicine for cancer.
