PITTSBURGH - Election officials in Allegheny County finished recanvassing dozens of voting districts Monday, with no changes in the election results.
A recanvass is not the same as a recount. Elections Division staff compared the final results from the voting machines in 52 districts to the results on the flash memory cards.

Isnt that all that can be done in PA given the type of machines they use?
They need to count them again until they get the “right” answer.
a recount with those kinds of voting machines is simply a reprint.
The county elections director seemed kind of torked-off that he was being forced to do this.
Good news
Allegheny County = rat nest?
No indications of fraud- must have observers watching
No grounds here to support Steins “allegations”
Anyone know if the federal judge that Stein appealed to set a timetable regarding him taking her suit? Can’t he just wave his hand and say you have no case and tell her to go away?
More of a reread. The machines don’t print anything. They have a final number of the votes taken stored. There is nothing to count other than adding up the final number from each machine. There is no record of the individual votes either in the machine or on paper.
If there IS fraud, I think that those who do it don’t want to open up getting caught. I would think they prefer to leave it alone and come up with identical results to save their own bacon.
That is one aspect of this whole dumb charade. Apparently, Stein has not made many friends (Dem or Rep) in the commissions who handle elections and vote counting and tabulations as they see her antics as an affront to the work they did.
when is PA expected to certify
with the results they already have?
Pa is certified.
Many thanks for that info!!!
Is there a link to the certification document?
Reason I ask is, someone found the one for MI (h/t mrsmith)
