One of Donald Trump's hobbyhorses during the presidential campaign and even now that he has emerged as the president-elect is how deeply negative the media coverage of him was during the 2016 race. Turns out he was right, according to a new study out of Harvard's Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy.
“His coverage was negative from the start [of the general election] and never came close to entering positive territory,” writes Thomas E. Patterson, the Bradlee Professor of Government and the Press at Harvard. “During his best weeks, the coverage ran 2-to-1 negative over positive. In his worst weeks, the ratio was more than 10-to-1. If there was a silver lining for Trump, it was that his two best weeks were the ones just preceding the November balloting.”(continued)

But he got good coverage during the primary. He was the Media’s pick to win the GOP nomination. But he did turn it around on the media and now they are hating it.
Nothing has changed.
He could give everyone @ CNN/NBC/CBS/ABC a mil and they would still spin it negatively

Chris knows that Trump will pull media credentials from WH pressers and/or briefing, and forget about flying on Air Force One. Trump doesn’t need them. They can get pool pictures and notes. They are part of the swamp that is being drained.

Trump should really thank them. The dishonest all out media coverage helped him get elected. There is a great photo of all guns pointing at trump from media..gope etc. He was the underdog. America said...enough!

I think one of the reasons people get so concerned about the tweets is it is sort of a way around the press. He doesn’t have to rely upon, uh, rely upon — this is the modern era, modern technology. He’s at the point where we don’t need you guys anymore.

In three weeks, the media will say that they can’t be blamed for coverage of Trump because they write their articles alone, and any excessively negative ratio is the result of independent journalists making rational decisions about the facts in front of them...
Least that’s what the DNC mailing list will tell them to say.

The USA print and TV media have destroyed themselves, forever!!! The same destruction is now occurring to the entire Democrat Party!!! End of story!!! The Mid-Term elecetions of 2018 will not be at all kind to the entire Democrat Party, unless a massive sea change and shift to the right occcurs....like right now!!!
I would suggest that large numbers of Democrats change political parties (become Republicans) and their politics, if they wish to survive politically. Nothing is as dead as the progressive ideas of a lost Democrat Party. Obama became POTUS to destroy the American Republic.
All he (Obama) has done is to destroy both himself, Hillary Clinton and the entire Democrat Party!!!
