Nothing against either of them but perhaps Rudy and Newt don’t want intensive jobs at this point in their lives.

That tells me Rudy is pretty much of the same mind as Newt...running the Justice Dept. or something that would require a herculean effort to clean up and manage is not something he’s interested in at this stage of life. Plus I don’t see Rudy as being qualified as the kind of negotiator Trump wants.

I think he is seeing the end of nation-building and “savior of the world” at least for free. Which brings it all down to negotiating better deals for defending other countries (as he has said consistently in the campaign) as well as for trade. Any CEO would be better at that than Rudy or nearly any other politician since their careers have been built on compromising.

Yep. That is true.

I have a feeling that Giuliani’s vetting process was more of a problem than we’ve heard too.

Ernesto the Pizza Guy - under serious consideration, or just a trial balloon?

Rudy and Newt will be Trump’s Reggie Love minus the gay sex.

According to the footnotes of this book, it was a “Ford manager” so maybe it was not a top executive:

https://books.google.com/books?id=dWGryt-9WXoC&pg=PA291&lpg=PA291&dq=ford+manager+too+many+white+faces&source=bl&ots=wr1EJbSHYf&sig=Wbod2HsrTPraxduMahkX9uyGfAw&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwij2aTXjeXQAhXLi1QKHZIbAT0Q6AEIFDAA#v=onepage&q=ford%20manager%20too%20many%20white%20faces&f=false

Look at 146.

Trump is having lots of fun stringing the media along and getting to jump on command.

Alan Mulally was also President and CEO of Boeing's commercial aircraft division before going to Ford. He left Boeing when he was passed over for the top corporate CEO position. Boeing is the largest US exporter; he has extensive international geo-political experience.

Boeing really screwed up when they let him go in favor of choosing outsider globalist Jim McNerny from 3M. Alan had stepped in previously and cleaned up Boeing's terrible production snafu's with the 737 line and is a great leader. I was fortunate enough to meet him on several occasions and he is absolutely a terrific guy.

I whole-heartedly support this.

Mulally was very impressive at this year’s Global Leadership Summit. And no, it’s not a globalist event.

Mine was yesterday. Trump didn’t say much, we just ate quietly and then he saw me to the elevator.
