The female leads are usually not believable as they physically do things that are so beyond plausible, and defeat skilled male opponents and take way too many hits that they somehow dont feel after 30 seconds.

The willful suspension of disbelief is impossible to achieve.

That is exactly it. Diversity doesnt make a movie great. A great script, great directors, great camera work, and great actors do.

Ha Ha Ha.

Hopefully some other cures shall be forthcoming long before the 25th century.

Me too. I just saw two best friends... war buddies... taking care of each other. There was no hand holding, wringing, kisses, or sex.

Even the leads dint kiss.

More of a celibate monk vibe to me. Must the left sexualise everything?

Paramount is hellbent on making its next Star Trek as "diverse" as possible, including a "gay science officer". Probably won't last past one season, two at most.

I have this feeling that Paramount forced massive re-shootings of the first few episodes and equally massive re-writes of later season episodes of the new Star Trek series because Paramount very well knows they no longer can do a series that could offend at least half the potential viewers for all the wrong reasons, especially with the changing political climate.

One thing you never hear brought up is that actual hard number. Apparently back when activist groups sued Texas (?) over their sodomy laws they had to broach the subject under oath during the proceedings and it was something like 1.5% for men and 1.3% for women. If you gave their numbers 50% between then and now to cover for it being the cool thing to be amongst people with to much free time and money on their hands it’s still a small number.

It’s gotta have a ferocious attrition rate too, between the lifestyle reducing their average lifespan by about 45% coupled with a certain number who probably grow out of needing the drama and wanting some social and familial stability and going hetero.

In all fairness, I heard that Jyn actually required saving for the most part, so I’m doubtful they’re going to make her overpowered if that’s what you’re saying.

Besides, there are instances of female characters who with the right justifications CAN pull off what would otherwise be considered implausible. Like Supergirl, for example: She can pull off several of those stunts because, being Kryptonian, she’d be stronger than an ordinary human, though compared to males of her own race, she’s still physically lacking. But it does require an exceptionally good amount of writing to pull off, and do it wrong and they may make her far too overpowered even regarding the justifications (I’m looking at you, Rey).

Other than that, I do agree.

They’d better not be stupid enough to make them homosexual, especially not in this current political climate. Disney may cater to the left most of the time since Katzenberg and Eisner were brought into the company, but they are still first and foremost a business, and even they would realize it’s economic suicide to outright promote gay agendas in their films, which are marketed towards families, even the PG-13 ones.

Must the left sexualise everything?

I think they do it only to annoy you. They mostly avoid the topic (except when celebrating diversity). If a conservative speaks bluntly about sex (as in the case of the duck dynasty guy's interview in GQ magazine) the left suddenly get a giant case of the vapors and have fainting spells. They can't handle discussions of the insert tab a into slot b variety.

‘Rogue One’ is unlike any other ‘Star Wars’ film that’s come before for many reasons, but one of the most exciting is the diversity of its cast.

How are the reviews overall for this movie? One review said that it was a dark, but entertaining film.

I think that we will wait until the DVD is in the $5 bin at Walmart.

I despised Twiki.

The 2nd season didn’t do her or the series any favors.

When I went to Dragoncon for a few years, Erin would show up and have the panels. I got to talk to her for a minute or two afterwards after some.

She struck me as a likable and nice person.

This article reflects the wishes of the writer and other hollyweird celebs rather than reality. They are not a couple. They are two close friends: like David and Jonathan. There is nothing REMOTELY homosexual about their relationship. I guess these lib writers don’t understand the bonds of brotherhood forged in battle...since that is what I saw when we saw it Thursday night.
