Lynch told Tapper she wished she would have 'seen around that corner,' as she would have pushed back on Bill Clinton's desire to meet
She didn't think her meeting with the ex-president led to Comey's decision to alert Congress of new emails, which possibly hurt Hillary Clinton't campaign
Attorney General Loretta Lynch said she regretted taking a tarmac meeting with Bill Clinton, calling the political fallout from it 'painful,' as it cast doubt on the FBI's investigation into Hillary Clinton's emails.
She worried that it made it look like her Department of Justice wasn't playing fair.
The outgoing attorney general, who will be replaced by Republican Sen. Jeff Sessions once team Trump comes into the office, told CNN's Jake Tapper she didn't expect the chat to blow up the way that it did.
'I wish I had seen around that corner and not had that discussion with the former president, as innocuous as it was, because it did give people concern,' Lynch said.

The Democrats WANT to put the focus on the meeting with Bill Clinton.
Because the real corruption had already happened, when Lynch fixed and whitewashed the investigation by denying the FBI use of a grand jury, denying search and seizure warrants, giving out immunity agreements, and otherwise restricting the investigation to protect Hillary.
Putting the focus on the meeting makes it sound like Lynch was a victim of Bill Clinton. This was not the case.
I think she told Budda the bent one exactly what Hillary could confirm, that is things already known and covered for and what she couldn’t say or things that would force the director to look deeper.
She was relaying the “fix” to be sure Hildabeast didn’t shoot herself in the foot and possible one of the underling could take it and run to the press.
For sure it was a fix. Details really don’t matter.
Nothing short of a civil war however will change much.
After a few months of investigation the public will forget and to many links will be found leading to connected people that the powers won’t or can’t take down.
