President Obama Calls Donald Trump to Reaffirm ‘Smooth Transition of Power’

Obama called Trump from Hawaii, where the president and his family are currently on vacation. The White House issued a statement after the call, asserting that Obama was still committed to a smooth transition.

“Today’s call, like the others since the election, was positive and focused on continuting a smooth and effective transition,” the statement read.

That phone call was to feel Trump out.. it was for obama to glean just where he stood with Trump after what obama did today and yesterday.
1. Would Trump answer his call?
2. Would he be cordial or cold?
3. Would he chew bo out or agree with bo?
4. Would he even mention what bo did?
5. Would he use words bo heard from others?
If obama got what he was looking for, he knows what he can do tomorrow. This is what girls/women do, to keep their power under control and know what to do next. Agreed. As much as I’d like to see them behind bars, it would be a huge distraction for the media, which would then not have to report on Trump’s successes.

Human behavior is largely hard-wired, though we don't like to admit it (and most people don't realize it). Establishing positions on the social hierarchy can be done as much through body language and facial expressions as through any real action. I think Trump has a particular genius for this sort of thing. We saw it clearly in the Republican debates, where Trump made the others look like fools with merely a phrase or a gesture. In this photo, the meme wrote itself. The expression and body language tell you everything. I wouldn't be surprised if Trump was consciously aware of this fact at the moment it happened.

I’d say that is a possibility. Probability? No way to know.

Many in DC would not like their own exposure, hence it will be unlikely to become full out in the open examination.

I believe what you say.

However, if true then the phone call went something like this.

“You’ve seen what I can do to make things difficult for you. I need assurances you will not indict me or I will unleash more devastation now and after you are inaugurated.”

This reminds me of the stupid GOPe coup attempt with the locker room tapes. They relied on Trump bowing to the pressure and voluntarily stepping down. That was a laugh out loud moment.

Again, Obama is relying on Trump backing down when the plot is so transparent. Trump has already proven he can get around the media. Obama’s actions so obviously and patently hurt America and her people that he simply can not win the argument.
