Republican Senator John McCain said on Sunday the United States could only improve its relations with Russia by taking a tough stance with President Putin, calling for stronger sanctions against Moscow.
On a tour of the Baltic states, Ukraine and Georgia, McCain and other senators assured the former Soviet-dominated countries that the United States would support them, despite President-elect Donald Trump's praise of Putin and expressions of doubts about NATO.
"We will strongly urge our colleagues toward more meaningful and stronger sanctions against Russia because of their attack on the United States of America," McCain told reporters in Georgia's capital Tbilisi.
"I believe that we must continue to improve our relations and to understand that Vladimir Putin - unless we stand up to him - will continue his aggression and we must stand up to Vladimir Putin," McCain said.

The only thing, IMHO, that explains the actions of McCain & Graham is that they have been in the pocket of the Saudis for years. Such corruption is RAMPANT in Washington.
They weren’t there when Russia hacked Romney or attempted to hack vital systems. They are only mad that Russia,supposedly hacked the DNC and need a scapegoat to cover up their own failures.

Insane McCain seems to have totally snapped. Perhaps it was too much for him to handle, that DJT is elected President, while he couldn't achieve that.
I'm wondering if DJT's team isn't going to have to have some really compelling research to force McCain into an old age home with padded cells for rooms.

Oh I think it is more than that. Once we have a real DOJ and adults in charge, the rest of America is going to find out who all the traitors are in slime pit, AKA Washington DC. Politicians like McCain are probably neck deep in that slime. Why else would he continue to spread lies overseas.

The reason Johnny Boy hates Putin is because he got in the middle of our grand scheme. Johnny, Hill and Obama helped ISIS build up in Syria, by running guns to them, to force Assad to step down. Assad asked Putin for help and he obliged, saving Assad’s arse, and kicking ISIS out of Syria. That caused ISIS to vacate, moving on to Afghanistan and Iraq.

McCain and Graham are the MSM’s designated spokespersons for the REPUBs because the MSN knows that those two Senators will offer words of praise for RATs and trash REPUBs leaders and policy. It’s what they do. Trump (and McConnell’s wife) need to tell the Senate majority leader to strip these jerks of their committee power, etc.
We are not dealing with the USSR any longer. Yes there is much to dislike about Russia, but there is also much to admire. Is Putin the same as before the breakup? Maybe, but there is much to indicate he is a changed man. He says he is now a Christian and attends worship, and has pledged to stand up for Christianity wherever. And he has. He, has done some deplorable things and some admirable.
I agree with Trump, lets talk and find areas in which we can work together.
